Item Decay, Yes or No?

    Im a huge fan of the half loot/half destroyed pvp loot mechanic in Eve, it gives a drive to the economy and it makes pvp interesting. You have to think about your ventures "will this provide sufficient reward to weigh up the risk of catastrophic item loss?" I realize this is something a looot of people have huge buhuhuhu problems with so maybe something a little less severe is a good idea. I definately think items should decay.

    Yeah. It's funny because the people that complain about having no restrictions (consequences for actions) are the same ones that complain that there's nothing to do and no reason to do it.

    Item destruction/severe decay is pretty much needed for a player-driven economy to work.

    Any news on whether ArecheAge uses a BoP/BoE/"Soul Link" type system with items?

     

    Kinda makes a big difference to whether or not item decay will work, in my opinion.
