Auto assault shortly.
D&D and Irth Online at the end of the summer
Auto Assault doesn't seem very interesting.
I have a beta invite but I haven't bothered faxing in the form.
We're all just waiting for Vanguard and Hero's Journey, aren't we?

How many times can they redo fantasy ? It's getting old - this new mad max beyond thunderdome lookin' world of auto assault though... come on man!!! Racing around in an armored vehicle with renegade spray painted on the side of it along with a list of kills, incased in armor, surrounded by blazing weapons.. hauling serious ass and shooting down whoever gets in your way? That kinda sounds super awesomely insanely incredibly phat...
but, it could just be me...
I would expect DDO to finally come out during the holidays, or early next year.
They haven't even sent alpha invites yet, and Turbine doesn't exactly have a great track record for meeting release dates.
Not that I care. I'd rather wait for it than play a bug-riddled pile of junk.
As far as how many times they can redo the fantasy world: Until they get it right.

Auto Assault doesn't seem like a deep game and seems to have a lifespan of Guild Wars, 2-3 weeks.
And I'm not a fan of twitch games.
Finally Funcom, creators of Anarchy Online and the first expansion Shadowlands now announced Anarchy Online: Alien Invasion. The release is set for summer this year, with an incredible set of new features.

Vanguard is due spring 2006, and Heroes is coming out before Xmas like D&L, me think.
