Something like runescape but better

Ok i am looking for something that is similar tu runescape .I want it to have nice non-combat skills and etc....doesn't need to be browser based...it can take how many GB's it needs...

 Basicly i want it to have a nice combat system but to also have lots of things to do non-combat.

 

EDIT: with decent graphics (or if it has bad graphics...at leasta good playerbase and awesome gameplay...).

    You may want to try Ultima Online.

    Quick question before I answer that.

     

    Do you want these non-combat abilities to be an in game activity that's almost neccissary, or a side option to make additional money?

    Everquest and Everquest 2 Veteran.

    ALMOST necessary. That doesn't mean that you can't do what you want without them.
