As for me I liked the forest spirit in DA Origins as well as Lelian and Morrigan and Flemeth.
I'll admit that I liked Elika from that Prince of Persia game but I can't all together remember why. Probably some unwholesome and unhealthy reason no doubt.

Rika and Nei were two of my favorites. Glad you remembered the newmans ^^ Since you seem to like Phantasy Star, Phantasy Star Online 2 is coming out this year as a PC-Only game.
Nice list.
I posted before, but I also have to make reference to one who taught me a lot in the real world. An amoralist/psychopathic woman who mentored me and taught me how to problem solve without taking conventions into account. ^_^

Yep the Phantasy Star series has been a favorite of mine for as long as I can remember. Phantasy Star 3: Generations of Doom & Phantasy Star 4: End of the Millennium were/are two of my all time favorite RPGs. Ended up being a big fan of their online versions to. PSO, PSO v2, PSO:BB, the ones for PSP to.
As wrong and selfish as it is. I would love to see 3D remakes of certain classics. (PS3, PS4, FF2, FF3, and FF5)
In War - Victory. In Peace - Vigilance. In Death - Sacrifice.

I still have all my characters from day that PSO launched on SEGA Dreamcast my untouch first lvl100 main character i started with
Ive only played PSO on my dreamcast. A shame there was alot of hacking and cheating:(
Bring back some memory's
Games played:AC1-Darktide'99-2000-AC2-Darktide/dawnsong2003-2005,Lineage2-2005-2006 and now Darkfall-2009..... In between WoW few months AoC few months and some f2p also all very short few weeks.
In each version of PSO I had made and maxed out a HUnewearl named Nei. I have the save data thanks to my knowledge in computers to each game. I also ran in Phantasy Star Universe four characters to maximum level and then I went to the Japanese version of PSO and PSU and maxed out a character in each.
I've had my fill of the game and Im waiting for PSO II and wondering how they will rebalance races. Casts were too powerful in PSU and newmans only were good if they were made acrotechers or masterforces. Wartecher was a failure at trying to make a Nei in PSU.
I still have my dreamcast and at least six VMUs with PSO characters. I did learn how to cheat and hack as countermeasures to the players who ran the -MST hack to kill players with a RESTA. I used to run around with +40,000 HP just to prevent the Resta Kill Cheat.
Remember in the Dreamcast version when you died you dropped the current weapon you had equipped and all your meseta. After the dreamcast version you no longer dropped your weapon. Instead it was disequipped.
I also like Zelda...and there was another one...OH...Tifa Lockheart...can lock my heart any time
I prefer making my own characters though and coming up with their own stories, so FO3 wins this one (for me). Oblivion is nice, but the character models on FO3 look way better...but FO3 is newer, so it makes sense....Skyrim will probably one up it though. Gotta love the Nordic woman

For sure. I really liked her backstory and writing, that and I'll always remember where she saved me out of nowhere.
I always used her inventory as extra storage, usually making her hold most scrolls and lighter items so I could haul the heavier things. She did actually use some of the scrolls (being a Bard and all), but only the buff ones (Bull's Might, etc) and never the offensive ones (Melf's Acid Arrow, etc.).
At one time in the Luskan tower, I ran into some guardian that was completely immune to all of my Paladin's attacks. I didn't have a +2 weapon (I think that's what he needed) and my Astral Blade didn't save me because he was resistant to Sonic damage too. I thought I was f'd.
Then I see her bust out a scroll, and BAM! The guardian instantly dies. I was like: "Wait, what? O.o" So I checked the log, and she used a scroll of Power Word: Kill on that thing and succeeded with it. I even completely forgot (or just didn't notice) that I gave her such a scroll, and it was the only time I ever saw her use an offensive spell scroll.
Beloved female characters...hmmm..I've always been a fan of female characters that can lead and kick ass but can also get analytical, philosophical and tactical when needed.

Kreia - KOTOR2 (Hands down probably my favorite female character ever)

Harle - Chrono Cross
Terra Branford & Celes Chere - Final Fantasy 3 (aka FF6)
Rika - Various Phantasy Star Games
Tifa, Yuffie, and Aerith - Final Fantasy 7
That's just from the top of my head, be here all day if I actually had to list them all

My Fallout 3 character, that I made myself+with help of some mods. Came up with a whole story for her too, and her biography.

Tough call because I typically don't like the female characters in games.
But I by far liked Lightning, followed closely by Fang in FFXIII.
Not my cup of tea of FF games, but the female characters had great stories, actually better then Snow and the other male characters.
