I tried for an hour to get a free trial account set up to no avail. No matter what credit card I used, the credit card was rejected. If the game is anything like this process, count me out.
Last time i checked they had an express trial. That you did not need a credit card for. But of course that was months ago, and you will eventually need one when you go to make it a regular account. I would email there billing like mmatto said if you still have problems.
Yeah I don't know either why they did it... maybay to much peolpe who made 5 id's or so every two weeks (I did it just because I love the game but have no CC )

you will find the CC that are accepted by BiBit, to create the SoR account here
I'm having the same problem. No help from customer service either. They created a ticket but it's been hours and hasn't been resolved. Also, nobody is on their help chat client. I have 2 Visa cards and have tried both. They should work. I use them all the time but I cannot get it to accept either one.
The only thing I could think is that they don't accept US customers. They should put up a sign or something that says "European Only". I guess we're out of luck.
Well to say they wont accept us customers is totally false due the the fact that I'm a us customer and have had no prolem at all. You should contact your bank some have safe guards in place to keep international transactions from taking place. At least 50% of the problems I've seen relating to billing and SOR is due to there bank.
It's their billing. I buy stuff online all the time. And I've subscribed to other European MMOs before. They're losing customers as long as their billing is messed up.
Also, the only payment options they give are Visa and Master Card.
yeah a real shame i had no probs with signup for a free trial the billling dept is very helpful sorted out a prob i did have in 24 hrs and i got a refund of the months money too give them sum time to sort it out you wont be sorry this is a game that is worth the time and effort to play

Yep. I can't remember anyone having this problem before on forums. You could try emailing billing-ee@ryzom.com maybe they can figure out something.

No more trial without CC... only with CC you can do the trial.

It can only help them with new subs, not hurt.

Also make sure that your banks allows the transaction of the 1 dollar/euro test of your CC. A lot of people had problems with that...
What a shame, this game is very well done and fun to play. Its a breath of fresh air from the other mmogs out there.
