Can you suggestion some? I know of Cosmic Break, and battlestar galatica online but what else is there out there? I'm personally tired of the generic mmorpg formula and looking for something a bit diffrent.
Being a pessimist is a win-win pattern of thinking. If you're a pessimist (I'll admit that I am!) you're either:
A. Proven right (if something bad happens)
or
B. Pleasantly surprised (if something good happens)
Either way, you can't lose! Try it out sometime!

You can try:
Guild Wars
Global Agenda just went F2P (or it soon will if it hasn't already)
World of Tanks
League of Legends
Bloodline Champions
EVE
Guild wars: Tried it Didn't like
GA: Not a bad game but without having access to mail/auction house your really limited
World of Tanks: Heard to much about friendly fire griefing so stayed away
League of Legends: Buddy plays it, game has massive balance issues
Bloodline Champions: Never heard of it will check it out
Eve: Biggest piece of garbage game I ever played, it has virtually 0 real gameplay and the entire game to me consisted of playing click the menu like a console rpg, Was no fun having no direct control over my ship, Dropped it and uninstalled same day. just didn't see any point to EVE what so ever to make it worth playing. Black Prophecy seemed good but they totally fubared the pvp but making it pointless, and levels matter way to much. (you got no chance vs someone like 4 lvs higher than u due to them getting a huge dmg bonus). I like Battlestar Galatica Onlines pvp, its open faction vs faction pvp with no item loss on death (you do get exp and loot though just like u killed a npc, when killing a player) and you can take over and attack sectors at will.
Anyone else got any suggestions?

Once you learn to play and get into the game the balance issues aren't that bad, pretty much everything can be countered.
Some champions just noobstomp more than others.. pretty balanced game after a while imo.
Better stick with WOW and other theme park games.
Though perhaps you'd like Star Trek Online? Might be more what you're looking for.

Pirates of the Burning Sea. Also Dungeons and Dragons online. Both are now free to play and hence you can give them a look without costing anything (assuming you dont pay per bandwidth on your connection). I'm not saying they are good, but they are different to WoW etc. Also as has been suggested, Star Trek online.
Darkspore is one to maybe try if you like Diablo and Spore (its their child), though its not really a MMO. Another that comes to mind is Wizard101. Sure its aimed at children but frankly I found the game to be enjoyable (even though I'm old). It was nice to play something so totally different from what you called the 'generic MMORPG'.
If you find anything good then let us know
Try Ankama's games: Dofus (or do some beta testing for Wakfu which will be released soonTM. They look catooney but they are quite deep and humorous. I've started playing Dofus some years ago for the same reason - because I was bored of usual autoaim mmos.
I personally am waiting for TERA but will be playing Wakfu when it comes out.
I'll second the recommendation for STO. It has it's issue's but for $6 (on Direct2Drive) you'll get your money's worth. I just picked it up myself a few hours ago and I'm having a blast.
Though it is sad you dislike Eve so much, I play on and off every couple of months and it's a really great game once you get past the learning curve and find something you really enjoy doing.

To add more, since there are tons of different MMOs:
Wizard 101
Atlantica Online
Uncharted Waters Online
Puzzle Pirates
Perpetuum
Darkfall
Xsyon
Earthrise
/writing down half of the gamelist
I enjoy Darkfall the most out of them all. It has a little bit of everything and a free-trial.

I would say Darkfall also.
I second Uncharted Waters Online. It provides whatever you want at the moment. Pirating, trading, just a little of everything.
@OP
try Vindictus. Atlantica online. Myth wars 2 if you like 2D mmorpg, also 2029 online if u like 2D
Pirates of the burning sea is kind of nice and a lil different from the generic style
I just found Eve overly boring, Mining was boring, the combat is fun to watch but fairly boring as well, from what I did u just circle a mob with some orbit command and watch the pretty lights. My main issue with eve was the horrible interface and no real direct control of my ship without going thru 10 thousand menu's.

I know exactly where you are coming from. If it's not your cup of tea, then it's not, and that's cool.
But like I said before, I seriously recommend Star Trek Online if you're into space flight and science fiction games. You have full control over your ship as well. Tons of customization options(for your ships interrior/exterrior, as well as designing what your away teams look like), tons of ships, races out the ass to choose from (as well as being able to create your own), and so much more. It's not as in depth as Eve (nor as confusing for newer playes, though it does have it's moments) but it's great for what it is, especially if you like Star Trek.
You said you've played BSGO. Was that any good? I've been meaning to try it out but I haven't got around to it yet.

D&D Online : An MMO that feels more like a true game than a grind. You pretty much group up to do dungeons (or solo) and they contain traps, bonus objectives, puzzles, etc. Combat is also very diffrent from other MMOs in that your character can solo a few mobs in a dungeon but since you won't heal between fights its best to stick togheter.
Dungeon fighter online : Brawler MMO. Fun action game with addictive PvP. Takes quite a bit more skill/attention than your average MMO to play.
Its not a bad game but its pretty much pay to win, even upgrading weapons costs cash shop currency like, a lv 10 light cannon is 76500 cubits (Around 30 US)+some ingame funds, a med cannon is 100k cubits+Tylium, Now you can loot cubits from enemies but they only drop 75-200 and its not a every kill drop thing. So either you grind for months to upgrade your ship, or u pay for cubits. The combat is mostly dogfighting, and graphically its very nice for a browser based game. Has some nice music and sound fx as well. But after the 3 initial missions is mostly: Go out kill npcs, mine asteroids, kill other players (takes some skill, uber gear alone does not let u win, I was lv 8 in a newbie ship with lv 1 gear and i kill a lv 40 in a upgraded strike craft on my own). With little else to do, there is no crafting, no player trading etc. They'll say "Its in beta" but open beta for a f2p game usually is the same as a p2p mmorpgs retail box in terms of how close to release.
