Vindictus: Titanic Shift Update Preview

SBFordSBFord Former Associate EditorMember LegendaryPosts: 33,129

The Vindictus development team has posted a preview of the upcoming Titanic Shift update scheduled for deployment on April 20th. Titanic Shift will bring the largest raid boss in the game with only the most advanced and strongest warriors able to take him down. The update also brings the Labyrinth online, updates to Evie's staff and the dock system overhaul.

April 20th will bring colossal changes to Vindictus: a powerful new weapon, a terrifying new foe, and a whole new game mode.

Titan

Life is fragile and so are the bones of those smaller than you. Remember this as you battle against the biggest Raid Boss ever to arrive in Vindictus. Only the bravest and strongest mercenaries will come out victorious.

Yeah, Nexon dont give a shit about EU and i have the same feeling for them.

Nexon America has no control over Nexon EU, complain on their forums.

BTW this game is having a free-token month, and maybe another one following it on april-may 20th.

If you haven't tried Vindictus yet, give it a shot. Its probably the best free to play game on the market, its just criticized because its 'instance' based rather than open world.

vindictus would be great if it had enviroment, enemy, armor, and weaon variety. Not to mention the gener locked classes. The only thing its got going for it is the gfx because even the combat gets old. You just do the same moves over and over against the same enemy in the same places.

To all waiting for vindictus EU...remember we needed to wait 6 years for Mabinogi...so abandon all hope!

Is this game still IP locked? If so then I couldn't be bothered.

Sounds good... keep adding content, not continents. >_>

Honestly they must be messing up massively within some area... there is absolutely no reason they wouldnt want the game to go live in eu also, since thats only an extra area of income.

Yeah it is a shame its not available in the Eu . It would be nice to try it but still theres plenty of other things to play out there so its really only Nexons loss . Good for them if they can turn down potential profits from such a release . Not many companys in that position these days .

Nope, the real shame is narrow-minded companies that force separation on the World Wide Web.

I've been playing with the same guild since Everquest and along many other MMOs over the decades, but things started getting retarded when WOW decided to start that forced separation of players due location.

Everyone should be able to play with whomever they want... companies that like to monitor what ppl do or talk to, should relocate to China, where i'm sure they would feel right at home with their policies!

Because a game that is based off of peer to peer conections wouldn't have awful awful lag if people from other continents played togethers.

While for some of their products, the IP bans do not make sense. However, for this particular title the IP ban makes a lot of sense. Considering the style of game, any high-latency makes the game damn near unplayable with groups [and really, it's boring solo].

Or how narrow minded people like you who don't know the technical reasons. You can't play with the majority of people outside of the service range because of lag. That's why nexon keep the service range to NA continent. Even though Hawaii and Alaska are part of the US, they know the lag from there would cause some issues.
