Looking for non pvp, crafting?

SpanxsterSpanxster Member Posts: 6

Hoping to find a game with crafting, player housing, pve, non pvp (want to freely explore, not shoulder check). I'm not a big fan of asian style games or cartoony graphics. An expansive world to explore would be fab. A more mature demographic. Have tried Runescape (I had to start somewhere lol), Everquest 2, WOW, DDO, Lotro etc.. Would prefer to sub (cuts out some of the @hats). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks =)

Vanguard, Istaria, Wurm (on Freedom server) are the games first coming to my mind

(tho in Wurm you look a lot over the shoulder even without PVP - for incomming bears :) being killed in this game = (at least used to when I played) leaving corpse with everyting where you died (and since Wurm doesnt have any mapping system and without compass item not even the directions .... .:) )

I checked out wurm but the graphics were an issue (too lame to look at for too long). Will check the others though. Thank you for the response.  =)

    Vanguard without a doubt.

I'll second all of the above and suggest UO, as well.

There isn't a "right" or "wrong" way to play, if you want to use a screwdriver to put nails into wood, have at it, simply don't complain when the guy next to you with the hammer is doing it much better and easier. - Allein

My best suggestions would be Wurm, ATitD or SWG circa-5 years ago.

EQ2 sounds like what you need mabey you where just on the wrong server. Try Antionia Bayle Server its most populated. Do not try the free to play its no where near as good imo too many restrictions.

Why do people do that and put down runescape? there is nothing to lol about, i wish more companies stole ideas from runescape instead of wow.

That depends on whether you consider crafting to be PVE or PVP.  It doesn't have combat, but it does have good crafting, unlike most other games.

It's PvE involves tearing the world map a new one, and it's PvP is about building a bigger monument before your neighbor can finish his. The dick.

Thanks for the suggestions. I tried Istaria but found the game to be a little buggy. Older games on a newer rig sometimes don't translate well. I'm currently playing Vanguard and am in my happy place. Thanks again.  =)

ffxiv. new producer leading the ship in the right direction. constant announcements from the devs and patches to fix the initial design. the game is getting better and better every single month.

i'm hoping for player housing before the end of the year.

Fallen Earth doesn't have player housing yet, but it has PvE and crafting in spades! Plus it is free for your first 30 days, so you may want to give it a shot anyway

Hello Kitty Online?  I understand you might not like some Douchebag ganking you over and over...  But why play a GAME if there is no competition?  You can masterbate... Thats a lot like crafting, and at least you get a little somethin for your efforts!
