Not a bad job at all!
When it began, I thought "Oh gawd, not another fantasy game trailer with death metal." but then the music turned out to actually be really decent and not death metal-y at all. I think the Dragon Age trailers showed me why that doesn't really work, but the music there did. Good job on the music. It was a nice overall representation, but I did feel it was missing something. That something would be the footage of Steeleye Span, which I think is quite frankly some of the most impressive that's been released thus far. That footage almost got a manly tear out of me with its beauty. It's odd to see it missing.
That's only a small niggle though, overall, it's a pretty good fan trailer!
Meh~ Unfortunately I can't praise it like the rest of you. The editing was fairly lazy and it barely matched the tempo of the song. It was decent for a fan vid and a lot better than mkost of the crap I've seen but all I can say is, it is decent.
I'm going to have to agree..
Some liberal use of changing the pace of the animations and a few pauses here and there to take things in and a few other tricks and he could have got it to go with the music much nicer. With that sort of music matched with the artwork there THAT would be a truely inspiring piece of work.
