From a hater to a fan... gotta say am having a real good time in Rift. Glad my Beta impressions didn't stop me having a good go at the final release. Long time since I have had a good session like this evenings. Got in with a really decent group and went up to the castle in Gloamwood to do the puzzle. Hard work but certainly worth it. Gloamwood is a great zone, very atmospheric and the ruined castle is a buzz. The shields on the wall was tough but got it in the end. Got a great blue chest item and 48 gold. Had a laugh with the group. Really like the way this is growing on me, there is so much more than the grind I had in Aion. If your fed up with the quests then do the achievements and puzzles. Still enjoy chasing down the rifts and invasions. Gratz Trion.

Yep, I think people get so caught up in the "oh, I gotta get to 50 in a day" mentality, they begin to get bored and frustrated with games (not just rift). You'll get bored with anygame if you do that. That's where Rift is great. There's alot more to do than just questing/grinding. Crafting is kinda generic, but other than that this game has alot of fun and interesting things to do. Achievements and artifact hunting, while kinda worthless, are still fun to do when you get tired of questing.
Rift is a solid game, don't expect the perfect MMO and you will enjoy yourself. The day the perfect MMO turns up this site will empty, it is called The Four Horsemen until then have fun.
Best new MMO i've played in the last 2 years, thats for sure.. Before Rift's launch i considered Perpetuum to have one of the best new releases in the last few years, and thats not saying much.. Anyways, i'am almost done with my 4th week and am only lvl 36.. Everyone in my guild is passing me up, even tho im on more then they are.. I'am just taking my time exploreing the world.. This past week i've spent a good portion of my time doing mob hunts in Scarwood lol.. Got me a few of em huntin coins and did a few war fronts.. Closed a lot of death rifts..
