KnightOnline Hackshield?

in Knight Online
I downloaded Knightonline and everything went fine but for some reason an the hackshield comes up and says nothing but offers an OK button. When i press it, nothing happens and i think the whole system just closes down. Thanks for the help.image

    ok i came here and signed up to answer this, sorry i might be wrong, i had same problem, my friend saids he had it too, do not click the desktop one click the one in the startup menu.

    Yeh me and all my mates are having the same problem CAN ANYONE IN THE WORLD HELP US::::01::plzzzz P.s the going trough the start mena doesnt work

    It's a shield to stop players from hacking,  it should load up and complete. But sometimes it crashes then you have to end KO and restart again, if that ofens't work restart computer. If none of these work then it's your security.

    sry, was on the fone when i posted that, not rly concentratin. i ment to say that restartin didnt work for me.

    To take a screenshot,

    When the error appears on the screen, press Print Screen, then open mspaint, paste it in it.

    If it is an in-game problem use "Num -" to get a screenshot. The screenshot should be in your
    KnightOnline folder.

    thats all the window, real size.. any suggestion? its not like nProtect, where a window downloads the latest version of the shield, its an error

    please make a screen shot, it's hard to distinguish what kinda error it is with that sketch......................

    i had same problem but i downloaded the manual patches and then it was ok ... but now i can start and when im at server window and im clickin on every server it says i dun have newest patch o_O and then im disconnected o_O

    ok I don't know if this will help but here goes.

    I downloaded this game like Sat May 28. I updated all through the files and everything worked. The hackshield program ran and the game works perfectly for me.

    However, i asked some of my friends to play it. They downloaded it in the past two days (today is Thursday June 2) . Now the only thing i can think of between when i dowloaded it and when they downloaded it is that there was an extra update,. I think the update occured sometime tuesday or wednesday.

    Well thats all i can say. Sorry i dont know how to fix it ive been trying to reinstall for them like fifty times already (exaggeration) but thats doesnt work. I hope this helps in finding the error! Also, i tried running it from the program file it self saved in the computer (not the destop or start menu) but that doesnt work too. I hope you find the error soon cuz this is a great game!

    btw my times are west coast times. I think the forum runs on east coast time. Doesnt make a difference other than three hours but i just decided to put it anyways::::01::

    Ok, after a few tries and downloads i found this out. There are different versions of the downlaod for Knight Online. The most current one that has no Hack Shield error is this site:

    It is also advisable to get the patch too at this site too.

    Now with the newer versions, im having the same problem as SpiritWar. the program only goes up to the connection stage and then disconnects. anyone know of this problem?

    Hmm, i just downloaded Knight Online, and i get the same Hack Shield problem. Im using the site you just posted and downloading the patch..

    The site works as i have already tried it. However, there is a problem that i am facing. It seems there are only 4 servers. I have yet to downlaod the patch but from the looks of it, the servers are totally different from those on the original website. Am i just ignorant of something or is this because of a problem?

    THanks again for the extra link though. Now my friends can play too. I just have to find a way to make it so they can play with me...the servers are different::::05::

    I had this issue too, with the US Version

    Start the game and it should update to 1282

    Navigate to c:program filesknightonlineHackShield
    There should be a file called hsupdate.exe. Launch it. Then start the game up again. Good luck
