All my characters have been erased and game abruptly reset on me

in Rift

I had 4 characters on this game and lost everyone of them.  I was unable to que in for the special event, then finally got in and got a message that server was going down in 15 minutes.  Then had 3 hour que when i tried to get back in later.  So, i missed the event, then my character was having small bugs.  The game then disconnected and when i logged back in all of my characters had been erased and deleted.  I have cancelled my sub for this game.  I have wasted my money and will be asking for it back.

    The game is honestly retarded, so are the servers. Happened to me all the time when I played - they are there they just need to fix it (again and again lol and again)

    What do you mean it happened to you all the time?  You invested hours upon hours in building a few characters and they kept getting erased?  I'm demanding my money back from them.  Not sure why you would continue playing a game that deleted your characters.

    You left out the part where you contacted customer support and they said "nuffin can be done about it, now beat it!" I mean you did contact support.... riiiiight?

    Never got erased, they would disappear sometimes when I logged in. They are there just not syncing because RIFT servers are total garbage.

    Yes I contacted support through email.  They are closed over the weekend for your information.  Now you beat it.  Punk

    Ahhh,  That makes more sense.  Will try again tomorrow then.  They looked erased to me and i was able to start a new character.  Hmm.  Will call support monday but missed my entire weekend.  Thanks for the good info. though.  I am grateful :)
