Hello - New to the game for about a month. ( yes a complete noob ) I know there are probably many jaded veteran players from the past who have written off DAOC, but I have to say, there is nothing like this currently out there with the 3 faction RVR. For all of you who don't think this game reaches new players, you're wrong. Most of the veterans/elders help the new people who are coming into the game. There is a steep learning curve that most people need to adjust too. I have had a great group of Elders get me up & going with the game mechanics, ui, classes etc...
I put together a couple video's in Molvik ( 35-39 Battleground ) so people can see what's it like coming from a newbie perspective with one month experience.
And yes, I'm loving this game.

nice ^_^ i miss those days. but i am moveing to ps3 and not rally playing pc mmo games anymore. but daoc will always be a part of me

Thx. I'm having the best time of times. Wish I was playing these types of games when it launced back in 01. Ex/current DAOC players I have talked to all have a soft spot in heart for it.
Makes me wonder why DAOC 2 has not been implemented or announced.
We are all wondering why there is no mmo developing with the same concept
I just came back to daoc after beeing away for a few years and it is still awesome!
I miss the population it had when i played back in the days but its still such a great game and if we could just get more ppl to try it out the fun would never end!

Welcome back to the most unique game experience for RVR & it's diverse classes amoungst the 3 realms. I also wish people would take the time to try DAOC & realize that nothing else compares. Cya on the battlefield!
