I think its the best mmorpg too but they should try to add some good feautures which they havent done since they added BGs? They have pretty much just polished what they already got since the popoulation is so big and have grown all the time they've had no reason to add any new features into it.
Lets just strikeout for summer if u think something like me. For everybodys best, Wow, Players and MMORPG genre.
I myself have played this game non-constantly in over 5 years but always start to play again after a break cause there just isnt any other compatible, sad but true.

Been striking out non-constently for the last 2 years, lotro online lifetime subscription for all my mmo needs (until guildwars 2) and Torchlight for my ARPG needs.
They also added Dungeon Finder and while it's crap looking back, it looked good on paper and was pretty well implemented. Assholes created the social problems, skill curve(*) created the experience problems, and laziness created the stagnation (people stay in cities now).
Truly immersive, you can be lazy in a game while you're being lazy playing the game.
(*) "LOLWOWIZEASY" I know, especially Wrath, but there were a lot of amazingly bad players.

Well, you gotta be a bad player first before you can become a good player. So you all help me learn please instead of chain pulling the dungeon so as to get your badge in the least possible time .... or get you quest / drop and then just leave the group. Thanks for the education .. /lol
If Ya Ain't Dyin, Ya Ain't Tryin
The dungeon finder was a polish, a bad one but that could be discussed
Exactly this is one of the things that's worse nowadays. Back in the days you created a reputation around self to be able to join dungeons etc. There was also a greater in game feeling when u had get to run to the dungeon yourself.
I definitely agree.
The dungeon finder is terrible but it still seemed like a really good idea and simple review shows that the harder dungeons get, the more people hate the dungeon finder.
Cata BR5 / Most Wrath Dungeons > Halls of Stone > Old Kingdom > ICC5s > Other Cataclysm Regulars > Cata Heroics.
As for the reputation bit, it just proved what has been known for a lot longer than mmo's -- Most people only behave because they don't want to get in trouble. Maybe not murderers, but thieves? Heck, I would if there were no repercussions.

Blizzard added plenty of new features since release. And there are quite a few MMOs with similar quality (LoTRO, AoC, Vanguard to name a few). I played WoW for a very long time and now have tons of fun in LoTRO
even if this was noteworthy
-- how many mmo players read forums ?)

I have been struck out for over a month already. That is the only way they are going to get the message that they need to listen to their subscribers is to strike out from it. Sure they added some new features not totally bad, that is if after you work your hind end off for a reward and then have to pay a fortune out for it on top of already earning it.... you don't mind or some of them for a small guild almost being impossible to do.
I agree that the dungeon finder is one of the worst things that ever happened to WoW.
The one thing that bothered me most was I had loremaster and after leveling my 4 maxed characters to max level again and doing the grind of rep all, other than continually running dungeons, and doing raids that was left was to level another alt or farm day in and day out for the weekend players to have what they needed.....
I saw a post pointing at that they can't leave because they are an officer in their guild. I was not only an officer and founder in my guild. I was raid lead and I left... I thought the same way for a long time. They depend on me and then after people depending on me and me helping them and them never showing up when I depended on them to it did not get hard to leave at all.
I struck out for a few months last year and went to EQ2, absolutely love the game and now I am back to playing it and actually enjoying myself. I actually get responses and bug fixes within hours after putting in a ticket....
Don't get me wrong I loved WoW before the dungeon finder and everyone pugging everything and then no high level content and expecting and hoping for more features that did not come. Was so excited when they said they were going to put guild leveling in. Oh how flawed it is for small guilds can't say this enough times. And then having to make insane numbers for achievements and rewards and then having to pay for the rewards we earned. That I have an issue with. Worked my hind end off to get told I had to pay out 1200 gold for something I earned.
I am definately one that believes that the business should always listen to it's consumer and I feel there is a lack thereof and I was taught if they don't listen to me then they don't deserve my money so I quit. If and when they make the changes to the game that are needed to make everyone happy I would be willing to go back but until then I will not pay out anymore money especailly considering I want my oney back for Cata.
None of this is meant to deter anyone from playing WoW. If you all like what they have to offer than stick with it. This is just one lowly persons opinion to the statement that was made of striking out from it.
