Ok been looking at the posts in here, and all i can get from this is a few fans still holding on to a dead game, with changes.
A shame they kill it, it was the the best game ever for me.

And i think its a shame to see so many ppl post about how good this game is and how much they miss it.. if its so awesome, why not start playing it again? They have done alot of changes so its not the same game they started out with, so dont expect original daoc, but you can still expect a good game. Embrace the changes,
As a comming black player thats starting from scratch i love that they made it possible to ding 50 in no time at all. im lvl 47 and i have like 1.5days of playtime. I, like alot of ppl, left becouse i didnt have time with the ToA-grind for mls and artifacts.. nowdays you can get mls from doing RvR.. and also RvR can give you good equipment.
So its a shame to see how many ppl that is missing this game, still reading the daoc forums, but dont consider playing it again!
Maybe because what I missed the most about this game is the several months I spent grouped up with others grinding out in the open world and dungeon crawling. Sure, battlegrounds and RvR was fun too, but I enjoyed the group exploring/grinding the most...working together as a cohesive team, and shooting the shit while we rested to regain health, endurance, mana.
