fighting ur mirror as a monk

in Guild Wars

hi, i have a lvl 19 monk.mesmer

i complete all three test : river, dunes, and elonia

but when i try to fight the mirro of myself, i died so easily becuase the mirror had a killing 92 damage bow

when i try mesmer skills, he hex me before

when i use monk, he will heal like crazy

 

any advise?

    ouch hahhaha mesmer bring back fire and have your hand rdy to cast it soon right after movie hit tab then ( what ever # back fire is in) mesmer or monk its a hard battle cuz your armor is bad.

    "Skills: Healing Breeze, Retribution, Zealots Fire

    Cast Retribution and Zealot's Fire before you step on the final block to trigger the cutscene. Run into melee range and cast Healing Breeze. The mirror will take 29 fire damage from Zealot's Fire and will take out its axe. Keep casting Healing Breeze as soon as it recharges until he dies. You will probably run low on energy just before he dies so use some control when casting."-Post originally found on the Guild Hall forums by The Arrow.

    emdt just dunt take any skills to fight , thats right no skils wat so ever works  all the time

    but to save time u might as well unistall GW now trust me after you ascend u got what 6-7 missions till u fight the lich and win the game , after that let the farming of a million chaos axes begin !  ><

    Equip healing breeze and conjure phantasm, nothing else. When not casting, use q and e to sidestep the arrow attacks. As an E/Mo i defeated my mirror using flare and healing breeze (even after messing up my attibute points trying different elements and having reduced fire damage).

    PvE in general is pretty lame, if you think long and hard about it. You are spending your time beating a severely gimped AI that would lose to a well trained monkey. Best not to think too long and hard why you are wasting time playing games in general actually...

    Nvm, wrong post.

    Pacifism helps for monk mirrors since the mirror doesnt heal during pacifism.

    Awsome Job!

    But yes as a monk it is a bitch,  but for people looking for futher advice, i was also a monk/mes and during that part in the game i dropped mostly all my healing skils and speced in mesmer, Use Empathy. What this move does is everytime he attacks he takes (X) amount of dmg. This is just a good base skill to go buy Back Fire works nice also so he doesnt use anything on you.
