The second item I want to address head on is the peculiar outcry over the leased-weapon expiration for weapons bought using virtual in-game money. So, I will be VERY frank about it. We have done this for two reasons (1) it actually LOWERS the amount of in-game cash (virtual in game money - which really equals TIME spent in the game) that you need to spend in order to try out every single weapon and find your favorite gun. In some cases it lower this "cost" (ie time spent) substantially before you get a chance to try the guns (as in the item now costing tens of thousands of in-game cash instead of MILLIONS as it was before), and (2), we are (and always planned) to use leased weapons (for real cash) and premium account access as a way to monetize the game - but not before you get a REALLY fair chance to TRY these weapons and features completely for FREE!

Didn't understand anything out of that paragraph, besides, less cost on weapons = shorter time for weapons = experiencing more weapons? ..

The new patch with leasing weapons / cars which dont have any slots at all , are retardet, nuff said.
and the weapons you used to get in mail for rewards for grinding a contact for days upon days in RTW APB times, dont exist no more, now you have to pay for theese premade slotted weapons with upgrades in them, and even then, their just leased, everything is leased in the game except clothes, upgrades for weapons / character.

Been in - fianlly good to be back in APB. Definitely see the difference now with G1 running things. Should be good but only time will tell.
No they have not fixed any of those, and its still laggy to the point of being unplayable
If you have comcast, don't play. Theres a problem and you will lag, I am west coast and get 200 ping.
Invites? Why worry about that when it goes into Open Beta next week?

Yeah they wont, and no company would lower their graphics. Use lower video settings and if you comouter can't even run that, get a new one if you want to play. But this game is going to hell so don't bother. The only time it wasn't a piece of shit was in beta.
I was so excited to play it again only to realize the current state of the game is unplayable for me.
Punkbuster kicking me and various other error reports that won't even make it to their servers.
So what is all the excitement about 1.5 going live about?

Good job, Gamersfirst. You took a crippled game and managed to add your own flavor to it to make it even worse. At least, in the old days, I could play the game just fine. But no, you had to do things your own way...

Nope,, if anything they have upped the requirements.. I have tons of more graphics lag now then before.. Otoh.. i did expect as much since i am right on the border of having to little memory for this game.

I actually bought the game back in 2010, but I am not getting in any of the betas... this is pretty crappy imo.

Signed up for closed beta as soon as i heard G1 Took it on board. Was also a previous owner of the game when RTW owned it.
Didn't get any priority into open beta at all.
Don't get any perks for having bough a full copy (which they said there would be when G1 were taking interviews for gamer sites about what would stay/change in the future for APB)
Managed to get in as one of the 35k added this week, but the game is terribly laggy, and crashed my PC.
So are all weapons gonna be leased even the one's with real money or just the free in-game one's?. Cause this can be a deal breaker for me.

Seemingly the hackers with ESP and Aimbots are as active as they once were. Seemingly. There are frequent posts about what active and tangible means GF will use and tools provided to gamers to assist in reporting hackers.
Simple truth is, there is none. Bjorn can podium pound all he wants, but with absolutely no in-game reporting or out of game reporting on the APB Reloaded Support Page that enables an interested player to easily report a name and circumstance, one can't help but surmise that GF is taking a casual and prolonged approach to addressing hackers.
Certainly, there will be more reports than fewer, but any elementary student can refine a simple means of name and circumstance that can be saved and observed. It is not their job to take action on every report, but to run a querry every week that simply shows reporter and reportee to sort by name and determine whether there is enough unique data to warrant a watch.
Not only is this not occurring, but the basic function of being able to easily report a suspected occurrance or series of occurances absolutely does not exist on Gamers First APB Reloaded Support Page.
Shame.
