Need help to choose new handled console

Hi all... Im not sure if this is the place to ask help for this...
Im moving to England 22th may and i need "best" handled device to kill my time on my journeys to work.... I love playing all genres my favorite game series are: Fifa/Pes, Resident evil, NFS and few other similar to those... Is PSP "dead"? Iv been thinking between PSP and 3DS...

Well at the moment here in the UK there's only 12 or so release titles that are actually 3DS games, however the entire DS game catalogue will work fine on the 3DS, they just won't be in 3D.
You won't find NFS or Res Evil on the 3DS/DS, however if you like rpg's, adventure games, nintendo based driving games ie. Mario Kart, Diddy Kong Racing then you will be right at home with the 3DS. As far as the PSP goes, there's very little new releases that come into retailers, think the newest titles have been Dissidia and Tactics Ogre & Final Fantasy 4 Complete Edition. If you have a psn account you can always buy alot of the games via the psn store. In my opinion handheld gaming belongs to the 3DS/DS at the moment if you're not interested in mobile phone gaming ie. iPhone, iTouch, Android systems. If you were to wait until the end of the year then there's the PSP2 but my only concern with this one, is whether Sony has got the gaming companies onboard and what games are going to come out for it.
I've actually traded in my PSP last week, had it for 6 years and for the last 2 years haven't even touched it as no games took my fancy, the 3DS is expensive but recently has already had £40 knocked off in high street retailers.
Yeah i agree that 3ds dont have much games yet, but 2 Resident evils are coming soon and so on... I dont know about apples many ppl says that they are pretty good.. But somehow i just want something "real buttons" if i play with phone i dont see the screen behind my hands ;p
Well personally if i were to choose between a psp and a 3DS i would get the latter, newer product, only £40 more dearer then a psp which has been out for a while yet the price has stayed high (it's Sony :P), more games on the horizon and the games coming out are newish titles as opposed to rereleased titles as you can see from the release schedule i posted for the psp.
I've used a 3DS and i got to say i am impressed by the machine, i was a little disappointed with a few of the launch titles but even Kinnect didn't have a hugh launch lineup so guess that's the way it's going now. A word on the battery life though, only lasts for about 4 hours so depending how far you are commuting you may need to take the charger into work with you and charge it up before you come home at night.
I live in Finland right now and i can buy psp with 100€ and 3DS about 279€
So i can buy 3DS + 1game or psp and 10games 
I must say that battery life in both consoles sucks so badly...

Well you could go with a normal DSi/DSi XL model and then the battery life doubles but obviously you miss out on the 3D aspect. By the way, the prices for the 3DS in Finland seem very expensive compared to the UK, I just worked it out that it's priced @ £179.99 which is 203 euros (sorry don't have the symbol for euros on my keyboard lol), having said that the psp is cheaper in Finland then in the UK so goes around roundabouts i suppose :P
3DS is crap tastic. If anything get a PSP or wait for an NGP. http://us.playstation.com/ngp/. Play you some Uncharted on your way to work.
