Now, granted, I have only played a short while and spent the better part of my time looking around and checking out the scenery. However, I didn't find any lag in the game at all and was pleasantly surprised as I had heard it was pretty rough.
The game world seems decent sized already and there seems to be a lot of open space still out there.
I think my only complaints stem from moving from a more guided game to a wide open one like this. Things like how the heck do I find flint? Despite gathering loads and loads of granite I never found flint. And I was disappointed I didn't start with a fishing pole despite picking it to start as a skill.
And how to create a homestead for my personal things.
Have tomorrow off work so plan on looking around a lot more and seeing what I can manage to get done and learn

hey there Halldor, welcome to Xsyon!
Name's Book in game. You can use /w name to contact me if you ever need help. Would be happy to throw some flint your way or answer any questions. Use /s to get back to general chat, and /h if you need to talk to a guide (gm).
One useful thing can be /unstuck though I've only been stuck once after falling in a player-made moat.
World is indeed still pretty roomy. From what I understand, it's 120 sq. km now and will expand to 1200 sq. km
You can check out Saintbob's tutorial videos from the Xsyon forums. I hear they're good. I kind of like the discovery and cluelessness I experienced when I first joined, but did ask questions in general.
Safe travels!
