Global Agenda.
Fun game. Different from standard fantasy setting. Not the tank/healer/dps mechanics. Fast leveling .. got up to 11 over a weekend. And it has an ok amount of pve content and pvp content.
Perfect World Internationals games don't tend to be too bad on leveling. ^_^
If you don't care about graphics and like a bit of group orientation (though I believe that was because I was a squishy) Grand Fantasia by Aeria it's quick leveling and fun. I actually played it pretty hard core for a while (family reasons why I don't now, no details) and enjoyed it, I also read they added new content recently.
Can we see on the other side? No, but can the other side see us? Maybe, maybe not, guess we won't find out until we're supposed to.
global agenda is a good f2p and if you decide you like it enough its only a B2P thats only like $20 i think? only difference is f2p levels slower i think, and can't use the AH but i bought it at launch and don't think i have ever used the ah anyway so go figure.
Me and my girlfriend is playing Everquest 2 Extended atm We are having blast!

You could give Forsaken World a try:

try aika global ( not from Gpotato they sux)
its mostly a pvp game with 5 faction and 1000 v 1000 guild war on max level.
takes at least a month to 2 to reach level cap under casual.
Dungeons and Dragons online is a really cool immersive f2p mmo available. It has spectacular visuals and is modeled after the boardgame. The only problem I have with it is that it requires you to grind quests in order to gain levels to advance. While it may not be the best mmo on the market, it's free, it's fun and it looks good.
I'd also recommend looking at Vindictus. It's not a fully developed mmo yet, but it offers a unique console simulated combat system (cool specials, unique way of fighting etc). In terms of graphics, it's also a very gorgeous game. It has a small learning curve and isn't as hard to get into as other mmos in the market.
If I had to choose one to begin with, I'd go with DnD online. It's a fully furnished game, has an established dedicated community with a good guild system. It has a moderate to advanced learning curve based on the content, but it's not enough to disuade a total noob from having a total blast (not implying you are a noob lol).
Thx for the suggestions everyone im checking em all out, but more are appreciated to hehe!
