that didnt take long.. give it another few weeks and it will be at least 75 percent off.. .. .. but wait.. isnt DCUO offline now...
DCUO is still online for the PC.
The 50% is a good deal, its part of their 30 days of deals promo, I've been checking on their site every day. They had Crysis 2 at 40% off over the weekend, and RIFT was also 25% off.
I was able to pick up ME2 for 8 bucks... torchlight for 2.75... M&B Warband for 7.00 I'm hoping for some other nifty deals still to come.
I'm really hoping they'll have some great pre-order deals... looking forward to buying Brink.
Yeah DtD has become my favorite DD over Steam. They have ALOT more specials than Steam does plus you don't have to have another program running in the background like Steam makes you.
And BTW, they did have a sale on all pre-orders last week I think. 15% off IIRC.

thanks for the infromation, but the price is still 50% more than the game is worth... Worst purchase I made all year..maybe Marvel will get it right!

Do you work for D2D? Because no one actually says something like "my favorite DD" and nowhere in this thread did anyone mention Steam yet you called out three things about them? Just seems odd.
Damn it! Ya caught me!
Of course I work for DtD. Obviously you cannot have a positive opinion about anything without being paid to. Also you cannot compare two things that are simular with each other can you? Forums are no place for opinons, that everyone knows.
I'm glad you busted me out for all the world to see. I just hope DtD gives me my paycheck this week...

lol Seriously huh? I talk about onlive.com all the time just because i think its really freakin cool but i dont work for them.
I also use Steam and i think once ive used D2D. I like that Steam has an overlay tho, some people dont. Onlive.com had a deal for Easter weekend on twitter theyd put up codes good for 75% off any game, got Homefront and Assassins Creed Brotherhood for $12.50 each.
I think DCUO is totally worth 50% off. Itll go cheaper im sure if you wait awhile longer but 50% off is pretty good.

No shit! Homefront for $12.50? I've never heard of Onlive, I'll check it out.
If DtD will let me...
EDIT: Huh that's a cool concept but I'll pass, I have a computer. Plus Twitter is for Self-absorbed egomaniacs or for Political Revolutions!

I'm an IGN member so I always get 15% off at D2D, so when these deals hit, I always get the discounted price PLUS 15% off, but only on certain deals. Like for DCUO right now, I'd get it for 65% off because its the 30 day promotional deal PLUS the 15% off.
But, I don't discriminate.
I check out steam, D2D, Impulse and GG when I'm shopping for PC games.
Always good to check around for deals
lol What? You have a computer? I use onlive on my computer, it works a lot like Steam but better. The library is just super tiny.
I only use twitter for video game promotions and news, just because theres stuff on there you dont like doesnt mean theres not stuff that you do like.

I've bought a few games from Impulse and I pre-ordered Witcher 2 from GoG because of all the extras you get.
I didn't know that discounds stacked like that. That's pretty neat, but DtD is paying me to say that

I was joking about Twitter, it is being used for great things right now. More power to them.
I thought that Onlive was used in lieu of a computer, not with it. At least that's what the site was insinuating.

lol Just check it out. Its free, you just register, you only have to put in credit card info if you decide to pay for anything. You can browse their games and watch people playing them without paying anything and most have a 30 minute demo.
