Hi guys thought I do alitle Lineage2 promoting :D

Starting after todays maintenance , Lineage2 7th Anniversary Celebrations begins, this brings alot of stuff to old new and returning players.

    Shameless l2 event promoting again ... :)

    The double xp week is soon to be over and ,tomorrow all accounts get one of the first boxes.

    Details on the box is listed below, remember all accounts are active!

    On April 27th it’s one box containing:


    • 5 Revita Pops: Tasty candy that fully replenishes Vitality. Re-use time is 60 minutes. Cannot be exchanged, dropped, destroyed, or shared.

    • 5 Vitality Maintaining Potions: Maintains your character’s Vitality at the same level for 30 minutes. Reuse time is 60 minutes. Cannot be exchanged, dropped, destroyed, or shared.

    • 1 Kadomas Transformation Stick: Transforms a character into Kadomas, a living, magical bamboo plant that shoots fireworks. Expires 7 days after the gift box is opened. Cannot be exchanged, dropped, destroyed, or shared.

    • 1 Zaken Spirit Sword Agathion: A bracelet that summons Zaken’s Spirit Swords. Expires 7 days after the gift box is opened. Cannot be exchanged, dropped, destroyed, or shared. Agathion bestows a skill that increases Max HP and Max MP by 40%, Atk. Spd. by 20%, and P. Atk. by 10% for 30 minutes, with a reuse delay of 2 hours.

    • 5 Fresh Milks: Freshly collected milk. When used, character gains Might, Haste, Empower, Acumen, Wind Walk, Vampiric Rage, Berserker Spirit, Shield, Focus, Death Whisper, Guidance, Clarity, Wild Magic, and Concentration effects for 1 hour. Cannot be exchanged, dropped or destroyed. Can be shared via Dimensional Merchants.

    • 1 Black Gem Mask Vitality: A black gem mask accessory made of a lustrous metal. When equipped, grants a skill that maintains Vitality that can be used every hour. Expires 7 days after the gift box is opened. Cannot be exchanged, dropped, destroyed, or shared.

    • 10 Super Healthy Juices: Magic juice that instantly fully restores HP. Cannot be exchanged, dropped, or destroyed. Can be shared via Dimensional Merchants.

     


    And the Anniversary letter event also starts after tomorrows downtime. were you get buff pots that increase your stats and chance for some epic loot.


     

    Letter Collector's Gift: Upon use, a Letter Collector's Gift increases Atk. Spd. by 15%, Magic Casting Spd. by15%, and Speed by 20 for 2 hours. As a nostalgic gesture, using a Letter Collector's Gift also changes the appearance of the using character's equipped weapon and armor to look like the D-grade equivalent. Reuse time of this item is 60 minutes. The item can be exchanged, traded, and sold.

    "Lineage II" Turn-In: Turn in the letters L, I, N, E, A, G, E, and II receive one of the following rewards (random chance among those listed) along with the Letter Collector's Gift:


    • 2 Blessed Scrolls of Resurrection

    • 2 Blessed Scrolls of Escape

    • 5 Greater Quick Healing Potions

    • 1 Random Red, Green, or Blue Soul Crystal of level 14 through 16

    • 1 Random Vesper Weapon

    • 1 Ring of Baium

     

    "NCsoft" Turn-In: Turn in the letters N, C, S, O, F, and T and receive one of the following rewards (random chance among those listed) along with the Letter Collector's Gift:


    • 2 Blessed Scrolls of Resurrection

    • 2 Blessed Scrolls of Escape

    • 5 Greater Quick Healing Potions

    • 1 Random Attribute Crystal

    • 1 Random Vesper Armor Piece

    • 1 Ring of Queen Ant

    Relly enjoyed the Double XP week. I made a Dark Avenger and got him up to level 66. Hoping to have him 80 by the time Goddess Of Destructuion launches.

    I have been on "leave" since December so didnt do anything. GL with getting the DA leveled in time.

    I just recently solved a problem (with the help of technical support) where any time I purchased a scroll of escape or anything from a player I would crash. And not actually complete the purchase.

    so NOW that that's fixed I can delve a bit more into the game. just about half way to 79...

    I think it was some windows 7 weirdness.

    I had to essentially turn off a windows 7 feature then delete game guard then start the game up and download game guard again and that fixed it. I then turned on the windows 7 feature (it was UAC - User Account Control) and I do notice a slight stall when I buy something but no more crashes. I can also log to the character screen where before I crashed.

    ah... good times...

    This game has changed so much while I was gone... it feels completely different.

     

    Except Giran, that's the same.

    Everything creates huge amounts of negativity on the internet, that's what the internet is for: Negativity, porn and lolcats.

    Next update we will get an Auction House so Giran should not be such a pain in the ass to travel through.

    Says on the event Info page - linked further up that banned and trial accounts are not re-activated.

    they already opened banned accounts for reactivation before this event when they changed their rules. so depending on exactly what they were banned for it may be live now
