A new MMORPG being developed by a new (small) development team, SAGS (Sorizian Animation Gaming Studios), is looking for staff members! Currently, we're more concerned about getting an Alpha version of the game together, but once that's ready, we'll work on a publishing deal, either with another company, or by ourselves. What that means is for the time being, the positions are unpaid, BUT once we've decided on a marketing plan, all staff will be compensated. These are the positions we're looking to fill:
Programmers:
Basic
C
C++
Any other language (we're writing a custom scripting language that anyone with coding experience can use)
Artists:
3D Modellers
2D Modellers
Texturers
Effects Designers (particle effects, shaders, etc)
Audio:
Soundtrack artist
Audio Effects Artist
Writers:
Quest Writers
I apologize if I don't have the correct names of some of the positions. I just put down what made sense to me. If you're interested in working on this project, please email me at brian72282@charter.net with a subject of what position you're applying for with a description of yourself, and a resume if possible. Thank you.

Might you mention the games basic storyline?
Hello,
I am the owner of SAGS. We would love to hear from you at our IRC channel on the freenode network. You can connect by using MIRC. Download MIRC at www.mirc.com. irc.freenode.net and then /join #ds-sags
We will be able to answer any of your questions needed. Not all team members go here just basically administrators and owners. Only time all team members are usually here is for DEV chats.
Thanks
Well, the history has yet to be composed, but here's the basics I can provide. It'll be a fantasy MMORPG, with the standard fatnasy races, perhaps some unique ones as well (still undecided on adding any). At the current count there's 4 base classes, and 20 subclasses. There will be PvP on the "normal" similar to how WoW does it, but again, you won't HAVE to, and at this time, there's no planned benefits (like WoW's honor system), but there will be things in there to prevent newbies from being creamed. The notion of good and evil races is not what we'll have. Certain races may not get along, but the storyline planned shows that no matter the race, good and evil exists within everyone. A HIGHLY detailed crafting system will be in, and the economy will be completely player driven. We're using the NEL engine, and will be coding in a custom scripting system for the game as well. The lead designer and myself are currently finishing up the design documents, and they should be available no later than Thursday.
You're in the wrong forum. Try "Developers Corner"
And the game, (from what little you have posted) seems to be nothing innovative ... seems like the same old same old .. dont know how you will compete with the big names you base your games off of.
You beat me to it. Makes you wonder how good they are if they didn't even take note of the developer's corner forum. After reading his description i wondered the very same about their "competitive advantage." If it's just like all those other games, then why would anyone play theirs?

Sorry. I moved the topic ot Developers corner right after Brian posted it here. Although it sounds just like the other ones that are out it isnt, and I know you dont even have to give it a chance but once we get more into development I will post a link with alot more information on it and you might think different or you might not.
Thanks for your input we love both positive and negative comments.
Ok, I apologize for using the wrong forum. I honestly don't post here often anymore (due to trolls), so I completely forgot about the dev's corner. Anything else about the game will be be posted there. The game is in VERY early development, and as was stated, we're still finishing up the design documents. We have a general idea of what we'll need for staff, which is why I posted.
