Aion: Empyrean Calling Launching May 25th

NCSoft has announced that Aion 2.5: Empyrean Calling will officially launch on May 25th. To celebrate the announcement, the team has deployed a new trailer showing the new features and improvements in the game. The team has also introduced an impressive array of in-game events following the update.
The Aion 2.5 PTS goes live on May 12th
Aion 2.5 patch will go live on May 25th

This is the update that I have been waiting on to try Aion again.
Too late, this game is dead.
Games not dead. I thought so too when I left 5 months ago. Just came back. Love that I can do end game content with Experienced PUG's and not dedicated my life to raiding. Having a blast playing casually hardcore right now!
I dont see why people keep saying games are dead just because they dont play them.

Define Dead? Lack of support, community, following, google search results, and outdated fan sites everywhere? If thats dead to you... then this game is dead.
I consider a game dead, when I give it a try year or more later and every fan site, or google search for information or help is over a year old. AoC for example... Google just about anything you can think of and the results will be from 2008!

Watch that video again....they changed the colors, added costumes, pet emotes, more costumes, flying carpets(in a game where everyone has wings). more.......costumes.......
Just slap F2P on it and move on
I have played on the 3 EU servers and one of them may be a little lite but the other 2 or anything but dead. I good population that can only get better with the patch.
I don't play WoW...so that game is dead.
I have no idea how this game does in Korea and the east, but minor fixes like this will not resurrect it in the west. For all the hoopla, this game has been a big dud. There are better f2p games out there and that is sad when you can say that about a AAA title. Just another example of why 2 faction pvp just does not work. Hopefully NCSoft will learn from this and not handicap it's next big title similarly.

Yep minor because they don't address any of the games problems.
This game especially. It's doing much better than the vast majority of other MMOs out there. What MMOs are doing better? WoW and Rift? and...?
When I want a single-player story, I'll play a single-player game. When I play an MMO, I want a massively multiplayer world.
There isn't a "right" or "wrong" way to play, if you want to use a screwdriver to put nails into wood, have at it, simply don't complain when the guy next to you with the hammer is doing it much better and easier. - Allein
