do mobs keep on spawning until there is no room left because no players are there to beat them?

I will be returning as an SOE customer because they will have the most secure identity management paradigm in the industry after this one.
What i think will be interesting is the shuffle and shift (and potental purging of the server populations). It may interest me enough to go play on AB.
I will be taking full advantage of the omfg we're sorry offer right after I replace my credit cards and get a couple game time cards in my hand.

I miss EQ, too.
But all the people I played with and enjoyed are long gone, though I still stay in contact with someone I played EQ1 with for six years.
I wonder if SOE has stock and how far it has dropped down to now.
I have a feeling it will bounce back up, maybe I should check it out.

Yes.. but the stock like all divisions of the company is listed under Sony Corporation. Its was in a downward spiral years back.. not sure of the value lately.
NPCs have huge block parties when players aren't around, it is universally coded into just about every game.
I thought they just went and sat round the wandering monster table and played cards.

I never remembered there being anyone in Freeport except me and Luclin, who was talking to himself. The npcs probably don't even notice the difference.
When servers are down Freeport does not exists. No more rats in the severs, no more mechants in the marketplace, no more evil beings of supreme power plotting to take over the world. And that max level characther with über equipment you spent the last 6 months making stronger: He does not exists, all his equipment and plat have ceased to exists. I hope you enjoyed your time with EQ2.
