Are there any MMO FPS games that aren't centered around PVP but rather group PVE either instanced or not with missions and stuff. Lots of character customization and some RPG lite elements to tie things together similar to Deus Ex or Borderlands? Like a traditional MMO with Halo/Gears type combat? Maybe something like Guild Wars or DDO but as a shooter?
Thanks

Global Agenda?
What RPG elements Does it have? Is it just swap your loadout sort of thing or is there some sort of advancement leveling/talent system. How is the visual customization? Any player bases?
Thanks
You mentioned Borderlands. I remember reading a few days ago that Gearbox had registered the name "Borderworlds", which is a suspiciously suggestive name if you think about it from an MMO player's perspective.
But then again, the Gearbox devs themselves mentioned that "a sequel is a no-brainer". So maybe the name isn't so suggestive after all, as the sequel might just be a single/co-op game that spans multiple planets, while keeping the same basic gameplay and style... but I guess only time shall tell.
I don't know much about it but you might want to look into Brink. It seems to have some of the things your lookin for but it might be more Borderlands style than an MMO.
you can try fallen earth it is an mmorpg with pvp zones (no pvp otherwhere), it has more or less fps combat
Fallen Earth isn't twitchy enough for me. It looks decent and it does have guns but I want more visceral combat. And Brink isn't MMO enough.
I'm downloading Crimecraft right now to try it out. I'm also waiting for APB:reloaded to be released to give it a try. And I wish Hellgate was still around

Well, there 4 classes with each having 3 talent trees. As an engineer you can for example go the turret-route or maybe you prefer drones. A medic can focus on healing, but also on diseases. You do level, which opens more missions/armor/weapons. There are many weapons and armor )even some crafting) but you probably stick to the same weapon through your career. There aremany dyes availible, even some rare ones as loot, which you can use on your armor, but also on your weapons. Player base is good i guess. I never have to wait long if i want to form a group for a mission. Global Agenda went free last month (although you level faster when you are an 'elte' which means you bought the game).
Never likes Crimecraft, and i'n in the APB beta now. Quite nice, but Global Agenda has more depth.
That link looks promising but I couldn't find any actual information on it. Is Hellgate really being brought back to the States and is there any ETA?
I'd like to know as well, is Hellgate coming back? I only got to play the game briefly and would really enjoy giving it another go. The Facebook page says Release Date: TBA but that could be old? I don't know, any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

there are no closer informations as of now, the page is (afaik) completely new, was published yesterday
Agreed. I'd love to learn more about this but that link only leads to a cinematic.
Ah ok, that explains it.
If you want an open-world fps / tps with missions, mining, crafting, upgrading your weapons, and flying around with a jetpack, this is for you: http://www.firefallthegame.com
If you want a non-open-world tps with leveling, modding weapons, buying blueprints, finding resources and crafting, then this game is for you: https://warframe.com/
