14 day trial, awesome people, great graphics and it has officially stopped me from chronic re-rolling syndrom You can be everything with one char - I can't say enough about this game and I can also say too much so I'll keep it short!
2.) Dark Age Of Camelot
Had a ton of 50s on a few servers - great game, good people, sadly had to leave.
3.) EverQuest 1 & Horizons.
I was with EQ for years - but it got ruined. Horizons is absolutely lovely, but not enough players, etc.
Based on nothing more than my own personal preference. SB Could have ranked higher, but it's shoddy implementation and buggy client and server made it almost not rank at all. Only reason it still did is because it had all the right ideas and was definitely moving in the right direction. Darkfall is my next, best hope, to replace SB, knocking it off, and probably even taking the number one spot.
1. World of Warcraft - for its fun gameplay and creative modes. The Battlegrounds installemnt was the finest yet. Quests intorduce you your new abilities and areas in Azeroth. With good Graphics, fun, and style, WoW has it all. Honestly who can doubt this game owns?
2. City of Heroes - For its new innovative and clever idea. Being your childhood heroes in an mmorpg? It's the best idea for a game I've ever seen. THe feeling of being a superhero in the game is everywhere. Just stopping a simple quest gives you a sense of pride. This game rocks too.
3. Everquest - The mother of all MMORPGS. This game started it all, and I can't "not" put it on this list. Eventough it can't compare with today's MMO's. This orginal king of role-playiing gave me the best online experience in my early years. Truely a classic of the previous generation.
Honorable Mentions: EVE Online, World War II Online, Dark Age of Camelot, Star Wars Galaxies
Comments
1. Everquest (best for ever haha!)
2. UO (pvp in this game owns)
3. None atm, waiting to play GW and D&L
1. SWG (PRE-CU)
2.Guild Wars
3.Eve Online
Just wait til I get my concept developed. It'll easily rank 1 on any Star Wars fan's list and probably at least a 2 on any mmorpg gamer's.
Allo Allo Everyone
