Salem what do you think?

i am trying to find out more about salem but there is not much information on it while it wil come out this year.

people always spammed their official forum of the mount and blade games that they should make a mmo with the same fighting style.

if this game has the same fighting system as their other games like mount and blade:warband then it will blow games like guildwars 2 away depending on how well they can turn the game in a mmo

edit: also the permaneth death this game will have you can either hate it or love it but if this game has the same combat system as the mount and blade games and it wont focus on stats but on skills and tactics that will make the perma death not that awfull since you will never lose a maxed out char with epic gear but you remake a char and still have the same strengt cus of your player skill.

i hope this will be a sandbox game i know it features stuff like crafting, farming and building.

I doubt Salem will have the same fighting system. If you look at the gameplay footage it looks like its point and click. Its supposed to be taking elements from Haven Hearth and making it 3d.

As I understand it, Paradox Interactive is a game producer and publisher. They have mainly made strategy games, like Europa Universalis. Mount & Blade was never developed by Paradox, only published. So If nothing else have been told about it, I guess the creators behind M&B and Salem have nothing to do with each other. But I hope I´m wrong.
