The reruns continue over on the official Star Trek Online website of the Featured Episodes, allowing you to watch for the opportunity to earn limited-time rewards, including dual cannons for your fighter. Check it out.
We're happy to present special Feature Episodes! Feature Episodes are grouped into Series and are tied closely together to comprise one story arc. They're available to players of both factions starting at level 6 and at no extra cost. Be sure to tune in to continue the story!
Each series is comprised of several episodes in a story chain. You must complete the first episode before you can move on to the next. To begin a series, travel to the sector listed in the Contact section of each episode, and you’ll be prompted to talk to the Contact in the lower-right portion of your UI. This Contact will offer you any episodes you are currently eligible to play.
In addition to the standard mission rewards you’ll receive at the end of each episode, there is a special reward available for completing a series during its initial release schedule

In before cryptic rage.
I played the first month it went live. I hoped it would be better than it was.
This game is MUCH improved from the first month it went live. The community is very populated and the most mature on average out of any MMO I have been in. Most likely why you don't see much activity for this game here.
I was quite shocked to see how populated the game was when I tried it again last month. I really expected it to be dead. Very pleasent surprise. I am having fun in STO.
This game actually got better...
This is coming a guy who post lots of hate about this game the day it came out....
It's playable now, and they are working on making it better... at least it doesn't have a broken UI or Auction almost a half a year out... (cough FFXIV).
It's not for the hardcore gamers, but mostly for Trekkies... they can tolerate the drivel of the missions and provide scifi debates over in chat.
I would agree the game has improved a lot. I like the player made quests. Trekies are really into their Star Trek and I knew they would make some good quests. They have not disappointed.
Right now I'm just taking some time off from mmos. With regards to STO, I'm waiting for the next big installment, season 4 where they completely revamp ground play. Ground play is....ok. Some people like it. I'm kind of indifferent to it. But season 4 will completely change it, or they give you the option of leaving it the same so players have that option.
I think if they hit it out of the park with the ground combat, it could be a game changer. Another place to improve would be doing away with so many loading screens or atleast more cleverly disquising the loading.
they've turned this game around well...i'd recomend everyone who loves trek but didnt like the launch to give it a second try
Maybe Craptic should go this route and advertise this stuff in their C-Store.
mod edit: when you quote spam/advertisements we then have to take the time to not only delete that garbage from the site but also to delete from all the posts.
Please don't do that as you are essentially doing their advertising work for them and it just makes "one more post" we need to edit.

Wow, I believe this is the first STO/Cryptic post I've seen on this site that wasn't a total hatefest.
This gives me hope and makes me glad I'm not the only one here who appreciates the care and improvements that have and cotinue to go into this game.
That's because everyone is currently discussing the future of Cryptic , whether it'll be closed down, sold into little bitty parts, or bought by another company ( probably won't happen , everyones hoarding their cash reserves ) . Either way Cryptic will never be the same , this is good. The best thing that can happen is that STO is shut down and someone devs a new game on the IP. Otherwise STO faces a slow painful demise now. And NO, they won't be going independant , no bank will lend the money , that's a pipe dream.
AG VUK you dont know the furture of the game and already saying its going to die lol. please tell me that in crytal ball my furture please...... and i dont beleave what you say about the game who knows might survive all depends on the people playing the game its gets money from the players who pay monthy like me well seee........ if you respond ranting and go ahead ranting because thats all people like you do is rant this company going to die this die that die just because you dont like it,.

Here's how your $ 15 /mo has helped. You don't need a crystal ball to understand what'll happen , just a working knowledge of real life finances. 7.5 million in the last year and about 17 million the year before. With money cut off by divesture, the money crunch gets tighter. Enjoy your time in STO or CO .
The only thing special about this topic is that Cryptic is offerring the origal rewards ( for the month of May ) for content you could replay at anytime anyway. Thrilling news to get excited about ?
Just curious, but that 7.5M and 17M, does that also account for Neverwinter development and operating CO? I am wondering (as I have not seen the numbers myself) how much STO is pulling in alone. If anyone has those answers, I would like to know.
I play STO, and dropped WoW because of how much fun I am having in STO. Would hate to see anything bad happen to a game I actually enjoy.
