It's so neat to see this evolve.

    Anyone have some current screenshots?

Also, with much respect, it's kind of ciute to see people probably don't regularly speak english, or not in an informal setting try to use our slang and colloquialisms. He's trying so hard to be buddy-buddy with his community, or his translator is that the article is kind of drenched in it.

Am I deranged for becoming more and more of a SE fanboy as these letters come out? All I want to see is devs trying. I can play a game where the devs are trying.

It is hard to look at this and not see migration towards mainstream which I hope is not where this is going. THey put so much effort into being unique that I'd hate to see the plan completely abandoned. I'd probably shed a few tears if I was to login to FFXIV and see WoW.

Spec'ing properly is a gateway drug.

Damn that list is huge. Done by summer? I doubt it, but I'll stick with it anyways =P Getting a gamepad monday, if UI is gonna be slow and infuriating I might aswell be relaxing in my comfy chair while playing to balance out.

I agree. Seeing the devs trying is showing that they care. That is enough to make me back them through tough times and support the underdog!

Look I don't care what people say, I have played rift and eve and I'm back to final fantasy, I LOVE final fantasy. Screw everyone. Rift is boring and Eve is awesome, but as of now is too much to handle haha. This game keeps me coming back even for the little content it has, I don't know why I love it so much, I just do. I can't wait to see it evolve into it's final complete state just like FFXI did.

Edit: Well I love the game when I have a good LS... I don't have an LS at the moment.

These letters and development plans are exactly why I decided to go out and get this game the other week. For me, seeing a group of developers so hell bent on fixing what went wrong is impressive. I respect them for this. Not only do I want to support them, but I also want to see where the game goes. As of right now, I'm playing casually and am finding many ups and downs about current mechanics. I think it'll be fun to contrast how I feel now and how I feel later down the road.

The developers have got spunk and the project has potential. Surely, we will see if all this work pays off come time for the second release on the PS3. I really do want to see it go well this time.

This might be off topic but if the server list is anything to go by, Lindblum where I play is considered medium pop and still I see ppl everywhere. I'm only at lower levels, but every hub has ppl and I even run into ppl out on their leves. Granted, I cant team up with them out there but it sure helps make the world seem alive.
