I bought this game yesterday, was 15 bucks at Gamestop so I figured ¨Why the heck not?¨ It´s really not that bad of a game. 
Anyway, I jst did the My First Adventure leve to kill 3 Plague Rats (in Limsa Lominsa), and the aetherite thing popped up when I finished and it teleported me back to camp. But what do I do with it after that? It´s still in my journal, the pirate who gave it to me doesn´t do anything and when I try to get more leves it wants me to exchange them with that one (and wont even let me do that).
Do I turn it in somewhere?

Go back into Limsa Lominsa city, go to the adventurers guild and talk to the two NPC's behind the leve counter (Its the one with the bright blue lights above it). One NPC will offer you crafting leves and the other will offer you battle leve's.
You can also travel to the other two cities and pick up leves from the adventurers guild in each.
You can do a maximum of 8 battle and 8 crafting leves per 36 hours
I think he knows where the quests are, i think he is asking why quests dont disappear from journal after the Aetherite pops up to bring you back to camp. They seem to just stay there. And when you go back to get more quests you have to abandon the quests you completed to get room for more the next day.
Yea, i figured that out after awhil haha, it was qutie confusing at first. Also, I wasn't aware the I couldn only do so many in a certain time limit, then it occured to me.

I bought FFXiV like, 3 weeks ago and i paid 40$ for it.
I am very sad too because i LOVE Final fantasy but my computer wont run it on even decent graphics. Hopefully within the next month i can buy an awesome vid card and start playing along side of Warhammer
unfortunately im still struggling on the point where i keep leveling up but i still have starter gear. i keep doing crafting quests and leveling but i have never actually made anything. i can never find all the recipes needed to make an item. and gil is useless right now. no point in even trying to buy something.
any Linkshells on Lindblum wanna chill out?
