Beta over...

So the beta is over as of May 31st, 2011. Yet, for some reason, there are still keys to be given away... I'm confused. Were those keys for closed beta or open beta. I just downloaded with hopes to check out the game and help out during Beta, but man... what a serious bummer. I feel like this game is just a constant disappointment so far. MMORPG can't you give out more info when you're giving away beta keys, and when the beta test is over, I don't know maybe mention it... please! I hear a lot of good and bad about this game and want to get my own first impressions to recommend it to my friends. Otherwise, it may just be a simple pass on this game. I hear they got rid of the mercenary mechanic... but again I'm just hoping it's just rumors...

    I'm actually taking a trip to the Heatwave offices for this site on Friday, so I'll ask about the status of Beta while I'm there. If you have any other questions, feel free to post them here or in my Questions thread and I'll take them with me as well. :)

    Thanks RJCox, I'd really love to know what their plans are for end of game content and how much they plan on using what is now refered to as the WoW Generic Endgame. I for one enjoy some aspects of end game content, I just hate having to run content over and over again until you've basically got those instance on easy mode and all you're doing is looking for gear. It's one reason I stopped playing Rift so quickly. When you're busting through T1 and T2 instances, and you can do them just find but you're required to have a certain gear score to raid or anything. Well, the content gets old quickly. I hated WoW for making me run dungeons 100s of times just to be bored and left wanting.

     

    Also do they have plans for any expansions yet?
