best free mmo with good PVP

If your looking for a game based on PvP you could go for League of Legends. I find it very fun when im not playing my usual p2p games. Although if your looking for an MMORPG with instances and pvping on the side or ganking type play, I currently cant think of any good ones, but ill be back if i can think of some.

AoC going F2P later this year.
Only one free game have good PvP: DaoC.
The reason for that is that all so called free games have cashshops and they always turns into pay2win games.
DaoC however is free as long as you play it without expansions, they are counting that you will buy them later and start paying monthly fees then.
I only see DAOC showing a 14 day trial?
Do you have a link you could share showing where it is F2P?

Hmm, I just know that my buddy have been playing it for free for the last 2 months. I think it is official stuff and I will ask him about it tomorrow. He could of course be playing on a Dawn of light server which is free, start by checking it out...
Maybe he plays on Uthgard, I will come back to you (if I get hold of him, he tends to not answer his phone while playing).
Unfortunately any free to play PvP game is going to have some cash shop.
Global Agenda is a perfect example. The PvP in the game is fun. However level 10s do get matched up against Level 30s so not so hot there.
The end game (AvA) is a premium service and although it is very fun you will be paying a subscription fee for it.
You can jog for free but if you want to go to a gym it'll cost ya.

Age of Conan is going free to play soon. Combine free to play, great PvP with awesome graphics and a new PvP server launch and you have a real winner.

Well, theres only 13 skill points, so after 30 everyones maxed out.
Also, its incedibly easy to get to 30 for free, and you can still be usefull in pvp at level 10 vs a level 50, which is why they allow level 10's to join merc matches. Its better to run a bunch of pve missions untill 30 anyway, youll need all the tokens, credits and drops you can get.
GA doesnt have a subscription, its a one time payment. Not sure if the 50% off codes are still floating around, but i got the game for like $12. All the premium purchase does, is it unlocks a second reward box, where you get a second reward of tokens,credits, and a random item.
SO basically it speeds up your endgame progresion towards a OC weapon, nothing more, no lock out no disadvantage except its going to take you longer to get the OC weapon.
You can also buy a "subscription" booster pack, ranging from a few days to a month+, this opens a 3rd reward box, giving you a second item and more tokens and credits.
So basicaly you were 100% wrong on the GA payment system..GA is possibly the cheapest and least restricting f2p games out.
Also, whoever suggested games like AoC will be going f2p...get your terms correct please, its going to a pay per content, basically an unrestricted trial of the basic content, just like anarchy online has. LOTRO, DDO, WAR, and most of the other games that use to be p2p only, did not devolve to f2p games, they simply offer diffrent forms of unlimited trials on restricted content.
Oh and the OP would be wise to state what type of pvp he is looking for...1v1, FPS/TPS, RvR, instant battle grounds...what are we looking for here?
Ahh well I like the idea of the age of conan, though might be worth subbing, well i play darkfall atm so that kind of pvp doesn't really exsist in any other mmo but just wanted something for when i need a break on the side
and i think AoC will be it
