I dont have the biggest exp in online games, but when i tried starwars, which i found to be a bit non-pvp, i liked it: you go out adventuring, looking at the sites from the movies and so on, but as far as i am concerned thats it...play EVE Online..yes, it has PvP, but it really have an indepth system that takes you far beyond that, cant say much more..Dl the trial, i think it might be you..

I played SWG for a year and a half and it got really old - I Checked out EVE, never played it before, but i hated the fact that you can't exit your ship.

In that case, i really wouldnt know, i myself, like the pvp aspect, but if my hopes are fulfilled..

then dungeons and dragons might do it, for both of us ;)  ( not out yet)

Try City of Heroes, this game isnt really focused on PvP even though the Issue 4 has brought in arenas, team up or solo, do what you like, and if u ever want to pvp the oportunity is there, but not in the same way as you may experience other games to push it..

BTW, you can get a 14 day free trial now from this very site.. exellent.. image

City of Heros really didn't catch me either. I'm really picky when it comes to MMORPG's - It seems like all you do in CoH is fly around and kill stuff, doesn't seem like anything else to it. like SWG theres player economy and so much more, it's deep and in depth, i loved it, but it got old, so i need something new with an SwG feel.

Like the Matrix Online and FFXI really caught my eye, mostly because they have a recognizable background behind it. I just don't know if either one of those are worth it, i'm kinda looking for something that just came out, really.

Any of the major MMOs have rampant cheating, especially SWG. God knows we've all heard about the credit duping scandal. From my understanding, thousands of people had their accounts banned before people who were duping credits were tipping random people, so they had duped credits. It all got sorted out eventually, but not before SOE found out the hard way that their stance on the issue was well, asinine.

yeah, but don't you see? that's what made the game so much fun, and emersive, it made you feel like you were living out an actually life. I have so many great memories from SWG, but i was never getting anywhere with anything, and it was getting repetative and old. But the player economy and such brang it to life, you felt like you could actually have an impact on the world, or in this case, the galaxy. I dunno, it was just really cool to be apart of something like that, even though it gave you that sense of fear at the same time.
