MMO limbo hell!

I am in a horrible state right now. I come from MMO background of FF11 and WoW. Played both very extensively. I am having a very difficult time figuring out what to move on to. There are tons of games that have potential like FF14 (maybe..), DCUO, Rift.

Sadly all the games I am hoping turn good are rather incomplete right now. I feel like I am stuck between going back to games I am already burnt out from or wait for incomplete games to be possibly fixed.

I love games that are completely and utterly immersive, deep content, high social aspect. Honestly get the feeling I am going to be in this limbo till PSO2 comes out :x

    Whatever you do, don't go back to WoW. I find myself in the same position as you rmost times, and most times I head back to WoW and re-sub and play for maybe 5 hourds before I attempt to take out my own eyeballs. 

    I would suggest wait for Guild Wars 2 or Darkfalls expansion. Maybe play Runescape? I know Runescape isn't the best, but it's fun and free.

    I'd suggest the opposite. Unreleased games are always hyped to be the next big thing but rarely turn out to be. With the way the MMO market has been for the past 3 or 4 years i'd suggest just getting your teeth into something else then make the switch whenever release dates and reviews roll around.

     

    I was waiting on AoC for 2 years then it only held me for 6 months and a month or two here and there since, then i ended up waiting for SWTOR and GW2. With MMO's the waiting can end up bloomin' endless.
