Sigh. The website totally bugged out on me and somehow posted something yet was still letting me edit it, then lost my changes.
Ignore this thread.

Guild Wars 2 is a game for both casual players who don't want to spend a monthly fee to play but still want a fulfilling story character driven game. And who also want the capability to share that experience with others be it freinds, family or total strangers. It can even be played all alone if that is your preference. A game simple enough for the novice yet challenging for any seasoned MMO player. Simply put GW2 is what MMOs should strive to be more like.
I doubt anyone who doesn't think GW2 is interesting will come here. It may grab a few people, but the majority of "dislikers" won't bother reading through long paragraphs.
With in mind...
I find GW2 interesting simply for it's strict stance on PvP. Everything will be skill based, with a hint of luck. Victories in GvG will not, however, be based on items or loot or special privileges. GW1 is still to date, one of the most balanced games when it comes to teams. This will no doubt shift into GW2. If you want a good strategic MMO, this is it. Keying 1,2,3,1,2,4,4,4,3 repeatedly in every battle is not challenging... sorry.
