If you could only choose one, would you ride, or game?

Ride.  I could die happy rag-dolling across the highway on a crotchrocket. ^.^

    lol

I made an impulsive decision and picked up a bike this year. In order to keep my future plans steady I have to be VERY stingy with my money. No more MMOs for me 'till next year lol

So long as ya don't regret the decision it's well worth it, I think.

Bought a nice ride, met a girl, had kids, bought a house, got a desk job....

    now ride sits in Garage

    I should have picked game

Game since I feel like the dangers of riding a motorcycle or crotch rocket are kind of insane. I mean I'm all for people who want to ride them, I've just seen so many injuries from friends and friends family that I know to stay away from them. One little patch of rocks can change quite a bit in your life on a motorcycle.

That's what my neighbour told me the other day, then he told me he really misses riding. Don't think I'll ever stop: gaming or riding. I just have to put one away...for now!

Poor US of A peeps, though. If you want to ride without a chance on huge fines you always have to stick to the 60 mph speed limit, right?

Seems so awfully slow as a European.

In Holland the limit has recently been raised to 130 km/ph (which is around 85 mph, but only on very specific stretches of highway) but we can drive to Germany and enjoy whole stretches of autobahn without a speed limit where most people on the fast lane drive at around 110 mph (and quite a lot much faster even).

But I guess that 60 mph is only a problem if you actually feel compelled to respect speed limits of course :)

Great to see so many riders that play MMOs. Thought I was one of the few ahaha, at least now we know not all of us are fat, basement dwelling creatures <_<

And ^ above post, doesn't really bother me, thuogh I'm in Canada. The highway limits are 100km/h. I just started out so I'm working mainly on shifting right now, eventually will probably try trial runs or something to work on control. Speed doesnt mean jack **** if you can't do what these guys are doing

choose  what your heart and brain tell you, my only advice is BE SAFE, i've seen a motorcyclist DIE  right in front of me on a quiet rural road. ALWAYS wear a helmet. i work/live in states that DONT require wearing a helmet.

My best friend ended up taking the ultimate ride. You know... the one you don't return from. Now I game without him.

It depends on the road and which state you are in. Most areas in the north-east are either 55mph or 65 mph. While a lot of the roads that go cross country down south are 75mph.

Ah ok, thanks for the heads up. Somehow I was led to believe 60 mph was the max everywhere on highways in the US.

I already wrecked my sport bike and walked away.  I'll stick to the desktop rig and subaru AWD to keep me alive. =)

d00d you didnt need a nice ride.  You shouldve just bought a helmet, met a girl, then when she asks to take a ride with you, go to an empty parking space.  Then go "OMAIGAWD MY BIKE! I PARKED IT RIGHT HERE! FFS!" Then ask her t odrive you to your place then have sympathy cuddle time! o.o lawl
