lol sorry, i'll just shut up now i guess then lol just wish i didn't have to go into the game alone, hate that, say if your on a LAN connection and theres a computer in your bros room, could he play with the same copy?
aye, fifty bucks, its worth a go, the game is fun, looks good, plays fast, even if its not your perfect online game, you will enjoy it for a bit!

Your bro would need a seperate copy if you wanted to play at the same time. Even playing with the same copy at different times is considered against the Copyright.
Well, I have no objections of what games you really like..Guild Wars is also good..
BTW, I used to play Guild Wars before but I jumped to RYL: PotE..At first I only tried their 14 days free trial and I enjoyed it. I heard they have a $1M tourney, I think this tourney will make the game really exciting..

Originally posted by CactusmanX Well for about $50 and no monthly fees, even if it turns out you don't like it, you haven't lost that much.
That can be said for just about any game that exists.
There is a pretty good chance that you'll know whether you want to continue playing a game within a month. So you could pick a game out of the air, spend $50.00 and say "even if it turns out you don't like it, you haven't lost much".
In other words, there has *got* to be better selling points for a game besides "$50 and no monthly fees".
Maybe its just me, but I don't want to shell out $50 for no other reason but I'm shelling out $50. That makes no sense to me whatsoever.
GW lasted me about 2 weeks, if that, and i really enjoyed it for at least the first week.
But anyway in short, only you know what type of gamer you are, and thus what type of games you enjoy. you dont get something for nothing, and GW has no monthly fee for a reason...
Its great for casual players, or those that want a little supliment to their regular gaming with some nice tactical PVP. I was really impressed with the possibilities of the PVP, but it took me many days of constant pick up groups to find some memorable people that where good at it (not saying i was good, i was just looking for someone who could teach me how to be better). anyway in the end i gave up, i'd have been willing to pay £10 a month just to remove the majority of idiots from the game.
but like i said, you know what you want from a game, read some reviews (real ones, not just people saying how good it is due to no monethly fees) and see if its the game for you, if so, its more than worth $50 im sure. if its not, dont buy it, mebies try some free trials, read some other reviews. or you could even post the type of gamer you are, what you enjoy what your looking for in a game, and see what suggestions people can come up with. (in a new thread of course).
IronMike if you want you can join my guild, my nickname in guild wars is Mister Vampire, u can join whenever you want lvl is not important. just add me in friends and u can join.

Don't you worry little buddy. You're dealing with a man of honor. However, honor requires a higher percentage of profit
i just don't want to waste it lol
But... you said youve already decided... am I the only one confused?
