I thought I was going crazy at first... I couldn't get into EVE, so I thought, I guess I'll play some LoL.
It seems that they are having the same probs (website down, game not connecting).
Was LoL hit too?
Either way, they're picking the dumbest targets... I mean... if you're trying to bring down "the man" in the gaming community, why not hit w0w?
OH! Wait, they're playing it in their Mom's basements... that's why they'd never hit them. It's not like Bilzz is secure... they have some of the WORST IP security in the gaming world.

Currently bored with MMO's.
Up until today their targets have been pretty specific.
Besides they didn't have to hack WoW today, it was already down for maintenance. Who knows, maybe WoW will be hit soon enough.
Apparently Minecraft and eScapist were hacked among others, also.
*sigh*
And they're "taking requests" for more.
They weren't hacked, they were just DDoSed for a few hours. They're back up again if I'm not mistaken, according to their twitter feed anyways.
i wonder what would happen if they tried to hack 4chan and anonymous

This is getting really old. It went from "Internet Heroes bringing down unethical businesses" to "Attention grabbing basement dwellers". Ugh.
LoL wasn't hacked. It was just DDoS'd. Same with Minecraft.

Yes league of legends was hit by a DDoS attack too.
The hackers on their last tweet mentioned: LoL, EVE, The Escapist, Bethesda and Minecraft.
They also hit the U.S. Senate.
And what sucks about this for me is that Leage of Legends and EVE are the only two games I've been playing over the past 6 months. So I'm effectively gameless today.....
alright im not sure if lol were hit but to me it seems that there practiceing in other words there aiming for a big target if its the same person so there aiming to hit something with a big firewall so anygames that have a big fire wall are going to get hit and keep moveing think of it like this it started with a lvl 1 firewall then lvl2 then 3 then 4 and so on(for the people that dont rly understand. think of the lvls like pvp.)but i think thats whats going on wow last year had that prob so they were already hit. makes me wonder is the person (asuming its the same 1) aiming for the goverment cpu's or something?
To be fair I think it was Anonymous who was being internet heroes and lulzsec was trying to ride on their coat tails. From what i've gathered from all this Anonymous is at least 'ethical' this guys seem to just want to be jerks but maybe they had a real reason?
