UO and WOW

Hi all,
I have read lots of posts saying nice things about WOW compared to UO. In fact, so many that a quitted UO 3 months ago to went to WOW.
Well, now i know it was a brong decision. It is true that WOW graphics are far better than UO, but the overal game is extremely flavourless compared to UO.
It is a pitty there is no an alternative to UO jet. I really would like to find one (and I am desperately looking for it) but wow is clearly not the alternative.

Does any game comparre to UO??
I disagree and I play both.
UO in my optinion is a nice persistent world perfect for roleplaying and making your own content and playing the sims in a medieval world.
WoW is a game with at least as much backgroundstory as UO, it has quests and stories and in my opinion the better and more rewarding PvP system. Yes I will not have a fishtank or can customize a house in WoW, but then this is not what it was made for.
ou was and is a great game. to this day few mmorpgs can even come close to match it. ive played both games and would have to go with ou.
Ultima Online is an excellent classic, it will be so in the future, yet I find nothing useful to compare it with current MMORPGs. Hopefully, they will keep the content and will create a new generation UO by developing graphics. They've announced a new expansion that allows the people choose Elf as a race. Additionally, some new abilities, house customizations and craft varities added.
