I am looking for an MMO that will run on my MAC, I recently quit WoW for losing interest, and am currently playing The Matrix Online on my PC at work, I have a PC at home, but I am currently offsite for my job and will be for several months, and considering what I have to do for work, I need my MAC.
I went looking for the the macintosh edition of everquest, but no one has it, and it is always sold out of the Sony Online Store, do they still support this?
I recently purchased that special edition of Shadowbane, let's just say that account was cancelled 24hrs later.
Looking for something preferrably Fantasy based to offset the Sci-Fi of MxO.

Vendetta Online will run on a Mac, or a system with Linux too for that matter. However, it's a space sci-fi mmo and it is still somewhat of a work in progress. It's probably not what you're looking for if you want a pure fantasy stype MMO.
But hey it does run on a Mac so it might be worth taking a look at.
Everquest, A Tale In the Desert 2, WoW, Second Life.
Vendetta Online might even run on a nintendo but its not worth taking a look at unless you want a laugh.
Regarding Everquest: Mecintosh Edition... yes the game is still supported and sold by SOE. Go to <EQMAC dot COM> and see the link for downloading the game and a 30 day trial key to play free for 30 days. Though they require a billing address to subscribe (and thus a valid CC), if you cancel before the 30 days have elapsed you don't pay a dime.
The server is mac only. From an end users perspective this has 2 implications. 1) Only content up to and including Planes of Power is available (it takes years to experience all that content--EQ is freaking huge). 2) Server population had never been very large. Still, there are enough people to group with. And its a great game.
Now why would you game on a mac? Buy a cheap Windows box, and game on that.... save your dreamweaver for the Mac, and go Redmond to game.... www.pricewatch.com

You put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle,
You put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot.
Now water can flow or it can crash!
