LF fun game with lots to do
ok i've just about given up tring to find a game that has what i'd really want, so, can anyone suggest a game with lots of stuff to do and is fun.
by lots to do, i do NOT mean endless raid content, as thats 1 thing, i'm just looking for a game with fun gameplay and alot of diffrent things to do. anything from pvp, dungeons, crafting, skill grinding (like on runescape) DUO boss killing.
i plan on playing this with a friend, i'd pref F2p but p2p suggestion i won't ignore, one game that has alot of what i want is runescape, has pvp, ability to duo bosses, tons of skills to train ect ect. i've quit due to many reasons no need to explain as thats unneeded info.
really am looking for almost any game that has lots to do and is fun, 2d, 3d, old or new, anything, i've spent months looking for a game with what i've previously posted (can see post history if your intresting in seeing) i tried ff14 recently and well, i cant believe that game was even released in its current state, they might aswell just rework a whole new game =.
really am stuck, been searching for months and no luck on a skill grinding game, so now im just asking for a simple game with lots of diffrent things to do, anything, i am at your mercy.
another thing i won't ignore is RTS games, if you know of a populare decent RTS game i'd be happy to try that.
if a list of games ive tried is needed, i can post them but not sure if i can remember all of them.

hmm never thought ultima online had alot to do but skills and kill players, what else can u do?:p
Guild Wars, lots of things to do.
Easiest pick up and play game right now thats free and quite entertaing is World of tanks... Not really an mmo though...
As far as a fun skill based game goes... Ultima is good, I haven't tried darkfall in over 2 years but it wasn't too bad. To be honest I'm curious what people will come up with myself because I'm looking for something similar

Yeah guild wars is a good pick. Also if u like RTS why don't you just buy starcraft 2, it has so much to offer, multiplayer is damn fun, you can play competetively or casually, there is lots and lots of different interesting mods to play and ofcourse there is campaign.
Hrm, I thought I remembered crafting in Ultima. You can also have housing and decorate the house (also hide from Pk'ers). I have only experienced private server so I don't actually know how much was custom made.
I'm playing Guild Wars and enjoying it very much but crafting is go out and kill to collect x-amount of this and x-amount of that to give an NPC. No real raids that I know of.
It is solo friendly and you can party with friends though. I would at least try the trial and you can buy the trilogy for 29.99 and never pay again which to me was a steal.
thanks for fast replys, ultima online so far seems best suggestion only thing is finding wot else i can do as someone previously posted they werent sure wot was custom made.
world of tanks is a no unfortunatly, person im planning to play with tried it, seemed very unbalanced when he queued and the same thing over and over, not really much to do on it. thanks for suggestion thought :P
i have played darkfall..loved it, just cudnt really get into it for some reason, i think the UI and first person pushed me away, i was planning going back recently but looking at forums it seems like its in a bad spot currently, no update for long time, also planning of a huge redesign of the spell schools, people spent hours grinding spells to max to only find out that might of been a huge waste. just waiting for the new big patch to come and see how darkfall is by then.
starcraft 2 was suggested as an rts, which i was considering but, its made by blizzard and i cant stand them how much they milked WoW, also id mainly be playing for the ranked games not really mods, and just looking at the ranked matchs seems very slow, spend 5+ mins just spam gathering then send in few units. i could be wrong but, ive seen few youtube videos of ranked matchs, seems very boring, gather for first 5-6mins then rush with 6 units = no map control at all....no harassing like u get in some rts (DoW being the main one i kno of)
