In a new blog post penned by Bioware's Writer Ian Ryan, the process of polishing and refining the game's story is detailed. Ryan indicates that simply because the writing is finished, it doesn't mean it's complete. The writing team assists the art department to set the right mood. Ryan shows off a couple of examples of "before and after" art inspired by the writing team's suggestions.
So, what do writers do when the writing is finished? We play and scour the game, polishing everything we can and then compiling these art passes to help the game world reflect the stories. That's on top of writing additional content, creating and dressing the thousands upon thousands of characters living in The Old Republic and looking, for the first time, to the future.
But at BioWare, every designer is a storyteller. Writers begin the process with words, only our jobs don't stop there. We know the universe, we know the stories and with that knowledge we help the rest of the team create a cohesive whole out of millions of different parts. In a galaxy as rich and massive as the one in Star Wars: The Old Republic, that task is as colossal as it is rewarding.

This is the kind of time and effort put into polishing you'd wish every mmorpg development would be allowed to have.
p.s. I envy those guys. What a job they have
My brand new bloggity blog.
Gotta say, the transformations are amazing. I enjoyed reading that quite a bit.
Bioware is taking a long time trelease this game, but im glad to see they are not releasing an unfinished game. Bioware rocks I've never played a game developed by bioware that I was disapointed in. I think it will be great piece of gaming art, and a great game as well. Bioware should be nominated the greatest game devoloper ever, for not falling into the same trap as these other retards that are going down the same path as atari did with their unfinished games when they first started.
@Willyp76 Just steer clear of DA2. That way you can keep your streak alive.
"Isnt it obvious. EA, Bioware, and Lucus Arts dont care about us...This is a ploy they are doing to ensure that everyone is going to be playing this game. Its another EA trick. EA only cares about money. Bioware doesnt make any good games either so this cant be to better the game and no one knows what Lucus Arts game so this is obvious going to be a fail game...
RAMBLE RAMBLE RAMBLE RAMBLE RAMBLE RAMBLE RAMBLE RAMBLE RAMBLE RAMBLE RAMBLE RAMBLE."
