The best Runescape alts?

Hi, I am looking for a Runescape alternative for my account was hacked after the new patch with free-trade.

So my question is, what are the best Runescape games out there? If you have any, please reply. Thanks.

i'm guessing your looking for a game that has a skill system like runescape? as in you level each skill but arnt limited to what you can and can't level?

if so i've been looking for the exact same game and i've spent months and months tring diffrent games so far the closest i found are...

ryzom - has a unlimited free trial just like rs but max level in skills is 125, after that you can still play but skills no longer progress, tons and tons of skills with a nice crafting system only downside is it didnt feel "fun", i've tried it twice now and each time i just didnt get abuzz like when i first played rs. its worth a try though.

mabinogi - f2p but there is a system in place, where you have to "rebirth" to a younger age as at a certain point you no longer gain lvls. I cant really explain how it works as i didnt play for long but, every 3 weeks you can rebirth for free, but if your like me and no life, you'll want to rebirth faster, which you have to buy a cash shop item. from what i saw there is alot of skills, but the combat system is odd and movement was very clunky so i stopped, also ALL the decent materials are gatherd in dungeons, and there instanced, so you enter the dungeon kill x mobs to get to y ore, mine, leave, reset , reenter and repeat. materials include ore, herbs everything pretty much which i disliked alot.

Only other game that came close to a skill system like rs is darkfall but thats more pvp, and isn't much to do but grind your skills and pvp. nice game but recently the devs havn't been communicating much about a huge patch/expansion that should be coming out, so the community is getting pretty p***ed off.

if i remember anymore games i've tried, i'll repost, but really i'm in the same boat you are and struggling to find any game.

As said above there is not many games with the skill system runescape has but you also do not have to find a game that has one just a game with skills

So

does the game have to have A skill system of can it be any mmorpg that is challaging.

And do you like PvP or PvE more

I guess what im actually trying to ask is what games have you played after leaving runescape that were like runescape and you enjoy the game and still play it.

It does not really need to be browser based. Can be either way. But needs to be F2P.
