I bought soo much mmorpg, I don't want to waste money again, And, I'm pretty sure their a lot of ppl who own a Collector edition and don't use it. If the game is fun, I might buy it, or I might get it at christmas, but, right now, I could play ;)

Read reviews, and watch videos and decide if you like the game. I am quite sure that everyone who has bought the Collector's Eddition has at least one friend with a computer, so they are probably all used up by now. Like Neas suggested, you should just buy it, and if you don't like it, sell it on E-Bay. Maybe you could make more than you bought it for...

Look, just read all the negative feedback from people that say WoW sucks, and you'll see right away they are EQ2 fanboys that are just trying to get more people to play EQ2 instead of WoW.

WoW is amazing... no one has posted a valid negative review about WoW yet.  Probably cause the game is just so good, don'tcha think?

Get off your high horse...not everyone likes the game...I've played it and I hated the cartoony graphics. I prefer Guild Wars and City of Heroes (yes the graphics are cartoony somewhat but it has the superhero aspect going for it...which WoW does not) to WoW, which is why I'm playing both of them. I am not an EQ2 fanboi...Guild Wars was my first fantasy mmo (let's not debate it's mmo status shall we...it is on this site after all). I come from more Sci-Fi oriented mmo's such as Earth and beyond, EVE, and The Matrix Online.

Cartoony Graphics are not something I want in games I play...The combination of Cartoony Graphics and the Fantasy rpg aspect is what I don't like about the game. Is that a valid review of it? yes I think it is.

So basically you're saying that if people are not a fan of cartoony graphics nor fantasy games, which are both a given if you're even remotely interested in WoW, that they should not buy the game.

Doesn't sound like a valid "Bad" review to me, just pure logic. If I know I don't like, say, train similators in 2D graphics, I'm not buying it right?

*sigh* another WoW / Anti-WoW flame war forming.
For god sakes people if you like WoW go play it, and if you dont like it, goto a forum where people talk about games you like.
Personally I havent tried it and am not planning on it, just because I dont think its worth my time and $$$. I am not saying WoW is a bad game, just saying that its not for me and I really dont much care to try it right now (maybe when its cheaper). Anyways, back to the original topic: you get a free month of play when you buy the game. So ask yourself, if paying the price of the game is worth the trial. If you think so then by all means go buy it, if not dont and wait till its cheaper or is a free d/l.

(oh and btw, I dont think you can get a good feel to a game by seeing screenshots and viewing captured movied. You can have an awesome looking game with crappy gameplay but you can also have the reverse situation)

I could be wrong, but with Blizzard hitting the 2 million player mark recently, I don't forsee them giving away free trials any time soon. My advice is to find a friend that plays and hop on his/her computer for a bit.

Interesting that you chose to chastise someone for a post made over 6 months ago. You mention that Guild Wars is your preference and is your first fantasy MMO - but that wasn't an option when the post was made that you are replying to. Same with Matrix Online.

As for a valid review - basically all you said was that you don't like cartoony graphics or fantasy rpgs, and that WoW has both. Valid or invalid, that doesn't sound like a review at all - just that it didn't meet your expectations. Interesting that someone who knowingly doesn't like fantasy rpgs or cartoony graphics would pick up this game in the first place.

ive played wow and i can say theres a lot of fun there but the quests can get a bit repetative. the classes are vary balanced but the game is lag ridden. its ot geat pvp with the battle grounds and all but theres not allot in the way of crafting. the game is fun in the long term the gameplay can get tedeous.
