Now I'm level 30 after a week with just 2 zones under my belt, but those zones are 95% complete(artifacts will take forever, and seem to be a better endgame persuit anyway).
I used to do the artifact hunt, but with two 50s it got too much, and then Trion nerfed the artifact drops as well so that took the fun out of it for me.
At least before I could sell the ones I didn't need to get the ones I needed, but I have seen a significant slowdown of the spawns.
I guess people were making TOO much money on them and people were starting to get the Shiny Tart too quickly due to sales.
I don't really miss that part, because when I finally saw what a guildie got for finally finishing the artifacts (Shiny Tartaon below) I was so underwhelmed that it took all the fun out of me for that. I'm not really a 'completionist', I only did that for the end loot, the mount.
I mean seriously, the best 'activity' in the game (artifact hunting) rewards you with... a different color, faster version of the exact same one I got with my CE. That was just.. lame.
well you have gone same has i have done bard/ranger.
i am at lv39 and the bard solos very well and great in groups not even played the ranger side miss the heals bard gets when a ranger, you will play ya bard most of the time ).
I think Rift will begin to see more and more of this. Lots of WoW players tried Rift, maxed level, went back to WoW...realized Rift is better and WoW is just ...more comfortable.
With the game's 3rd major event/content update in 4 months, Trion's aggresive adverstising, and aggressive business strategy...I'm completely confidient it will be a very strong mmo for years to come, pulling many players from WoW and other mmo's.
