And here I was thinking that all the in-game talk about spinning ships was talk about some combat maneuver. Now I found out they just want to spin the camera around their ship while it's docked.
Weird and...
...nevermind.
No, you got it all wrong. It was the ship that was spinning, not the camera.

I hope you aren't serious.
I'm still waiting for about a dozen "iterations" for content that never happened.
don't mind the hangar, am curious about why ice mining seems to turn off the sound of the game while I am doing it, but then returns it when I stop.. and yes i filed a petition noting it.

I'm not referring to specific content that may or may not ever be implemented. The Incarna xpac is not complete. When it is complete then a value judgement about its value can be fairly made.

Seriously for a moment, even if you take everything at face value, how long do you think it will be before people can leave their quarters and interact with large groups of people in a meaningful way?
1 year…..2 years…
Given the amount of time it took to get this far, I don’t think 2 years before an avatar can enter several rooms and interact with all the players in a station is unreasonable.
That’s of course best case and taking everything at face value.
First of all I'd like to say that I do like Incarna and the possibilities that may come from it. That said however I do think they should have implemented it so when you dock you still get the old hanger view with the option to leave your pod and enter the station. This would have avoided a lot of controversy over this and would have been more imersive to boot.

You may not have liked the result and they may not have included everything that was promised by as expac there was a definitive point where the xpac was considered delivered. Incarna is rolling out in stages. This is stage one.

Too bad I remember the promise of Dominion being only the first stage.

I'm so broke. I can't even pay attention.
"You have the right not to be killed"
The ship spinning thing always made the ship look small, IMO. i like that Incarna finally brings a sense of ship scale to the game.
That said, I think they should allow players to keep the old system. It's already coded... why not?

Even I may resub to Eve if they properly implement this station walking so I feel like playing a character rather than a ship.

FYI - You can spin around your ship when you "Undock".
Nope, see when you undock, you spin the camera around the ship, but when you were parked, you could spin the ship.
They should really just make CQ completely optional.

Ahh gotcha, guess I never noticed a difference... matters not to me then!
You can spin in the fitting tool. Close tread now. Issue solved.
