no timeline yet, many speculate that if it goes like other korean mmos NA/EU will start beta 3-5 months after korean version launches. so maybe as early as november of 2012 but i doubt it. This is all speculation though.
well not quite up to date, but Jake Song had an interview with massively.com late last year saying they hoped to get the game out in Korea this year - which I believe have been pushed to 2012 for the Korean marked now, and then with an english release "as soon as possible", but with no info on how long after the Korean release they would anticipate the western version would come...so just guessing they got more issues than "just" translation, but will see I guess, really hope it get released here next year :P
I dont buy the comment about Archeage being made with the western in mind specifically....easy to say after they have discovered there is some intrest for it here.

There's nothing to buy, the CEO said he had the western market in mind, it's no conspiracy.
Since the Dev Team is supposedly aiming for a complete release and since this is an MMO I doubt it will come out this year in Korea.
I've never seen an MMO that released with all of it's promised features fully implemented and where players didn't start crying after a few months due to boredom.

It will come to NA/EU, jake song has specifically said in interviews that he's creating archeage with the western market in mind.
Yeah, we know it's coming here for sure. Just what payment model it has seems to have everyone confused as to whether or not they will play it.
Oh okay...thats cool, at least I know I can get excited about it then...any idea of a timeline, or is that totally unknown at the present time?

Nothing has been said I know, but its highly likely to be a P2P judging by the budget and game mechanics.
