Found a game thats fun !
Hi all, last few threads I made were the run of the mill LFG threads . I went back playing Daoc , great game but I only want to pay for one account for my games , and quite frankly Daoc should be a F2P game . So I decieded to try AOC again , had experience in it a while ago , and also its going F2P soon. Graphics are great etc , controls are a pitta though.
Then I came across city of heroes, downloaded it and played it for a few days, great fun but graphics and UI could be better. So I thought I would try Champions online , and all I can say is Awesome fun. Granted I have only played a few days and end game maybe totally crap , but I am having great fun , its free , graphics set to max are awesome , UI is responsive and character animations and gameplay is excellent.
After downloading Eve, City of Heroes , Vanguard , Daoc , AoC , I also have WoW , Rift and Lotro on my PC , I can honestly say this game is more fun than the rest , I actually look forward to logging in , which is something I havent done with a game for a few months.
So if you are in the same situation as me why not try Champions Online. I have already gone from the silver ( free ) to gold ( get the whole package ) .

Glad you found something you enjoy for the time being. Me, I just bought a new PC and I plan on going back to AoC (I last played maybe a little less than a year ago) very soon. But regardless, I hope you keep enjoying CO and it works out for you.

Well me personally i just got into Gods and Heroes,best bit of fun i,ve had for a long time..not the most graphically superior game ,but it is immense fun.i dont really care what other people think of the game i like it,,and good luck to you m8,if your enjoying y/self stick with it.too many times i have gone on other peeps recommendations,not anymore.
Thanks guys. Aoc is a great game and I will probably go back to it once it goes F2P , just need to get used to the controls again in it. Its a lot better now than it was 2 years ago.
Also I was looking at Gods and Heroes and it does look my kinda game, I love the Roman era, just got a bit put off by the price, so may try that in a few months time if I get tired of CO.
Time to put my spandex back on and save the world again
