Strarcraft mmorpg?

So there is World of Warcraft? Wheres my World of Starcraft? Anyway looking for action mmoprg with a starcraft like theme. No big ship battle bs, just normal fighing in furistic space setting. Like WoW. Except with guns and in the future lol.

LOL. yes that would be messed up. I mentioned starcraft because I personally think that starwars is too corny for me and well star trek just doesn't have enough action. Seriously, I don't want to go whacking around things with lightsaber just because its the only futuristic game that plays like WoW
BTW female orcs don't exactly sound attractive either :P
If blizzard is going to make starcraft into a mmo they will probably do it like they did with warcraft series
they gotta release starcraft 3 first then we get the mmo >_>

Kerrigan killed her father? Kerrigan betrayed her people? Kerrigan was left to die on the planet by mengsk, and was captured... then the overmind turned her. If we apply your logic, then Darth Vader is called Death Wing in wow.
SC lore is one of my favourites and i hope they don't make a MMO out of it, as they butchered WC's lore, then again its their IP they can do what they want.

It would be very interesting, but it wouldn't come out anytime soon. Blizzard announced that Titan wouldn't be a SC MMO, it would be a completely new IP.
Maybe sometime after SC 3 came out, in like 2020 or some ridiculous date in the future.
We thought Wrath was going to land with Arthas taking his helmut off, revealing he was Rayner, and jumping into a battlecruiser, thus connecting the two series and giving us Worlds of Starcraft.
Of course we were really bored by the end of wrath.
Sorry WoW kiddies, but Starcraft & Warcraft have two ENTIRELY different spectrums of artstyle. That big bulky cartoon graphics artstyle that WoW uses, along with it's simplicity, would not hold up in a Starcraft themed MMO.
Seriously, if they made a StarCraft MMO it'd have to be 90% FPS twitch based combat. Something similar to the newer Aliens Vs Predator, only less fail & Starcraft everywhere? That's just how it would be, or the game would fail HARD.
Look @ how bad Diablo III looks, WoW has been bleeding BADLY into Diablo III (art & class wise) leaving the game nearly dead in hype. Most of my friends, who loved Diablo 1 & 2, have already said they're not going near Diablo III, and that means Blizzard dropped the ball

Who knows? They never said what happened to Kerrigan's father... And she was killing terrans as Queen of Blades and that you can count as a betrayal.
Well, Arthas willingly became Death Knight and Lich King after that while Kerrigan was forced to became Queen of Blades (and ruler of zergs after Overmind death). Everything about em after that point is quite identical.
okay just a few thoughts, first off I won't care for FPS controls in an mmorpg, it just sounds stupid. That World of Starcraft trailer was a pretty interesting mod. Anyway I would like at least see my characters face though, human, zygerg, etc. I'd rather it be more of a WoW skin then an actual game but still seperate from WoW. Just some familar mmorpg mechanics. I'm really asking, is a ther similar themed alternative to Star Wars:The Old Republic?
oh god please no...basing a Starcraft MMO on WoW parameters (Which Blizzard will do as it's a cash cow) would be like putting a baneling in Kerrigan's tampon box...messy, piss Jim Raynor off and create a nasty atmosphere
LOl, Warhammer 40K is already doing this so Blizz wouldn't be the first.
But, no. I think Titan will have some elements for SC but a more complicated world. SC is good for a RTS but making a full MMO in it's world wouldn't be good no matter what mechanics you use.
The really nice thing about using the Starcraft IP for a MMORPG is that it would have fantastic PvP, especially with it's built in three factions.
Hey, staying on topic I Guess i would have to say there arent many top notch sci-Fi mmorpg's (Might want to wait for SWTOR)
But off the top of my head there is Global Agenda and Earthrise... maybe some other users could fill in more
Well wow could have had three factions honestly you played three factions through the rts, this is one area I wish Blizzard would have gone. Forsaken could have been there own faction of course early wow populations forsake was like 70% of the hordes pop so horde would have had issues, but forsaken had the pop to stand on their own for sure.
